"Pros: Das Haus ist individuell und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Der Blick morgens aus dem Panoramafenster lässt den Tag grundsätzlich gut beginnen. Die Zimmer und Bäder sind top, die Betten sehr bequem. Das Spielzimmer unter dem Dach samt Rutsche ins Wohnzimmer sorgte bei uns für große Freude bei den Kindern. Das Haus liegt einige hundert Meter außerhalb des kleinen Ortes Barbian, wo es einen kleinen Laden und eine Handvoll Restaurants gibt. Für alle Ausflüge muss man grundsätzlich...

"This place was ok. The highlights were the staff and the location, and Café Karin across the street. I booked this place through Expedia and it was not clear that this was resident apartments, not a hotel. The residences are charged extra for parking, for the use of the spa, use of bath robes, etc. These place is also very noisy.... because of the tile halls you can hear every conversation, door closing and footstep from the halls. There were young kids running and screaming down the halls in the morning and drunk people partying all night in the hotel bar screaming down the halls. I booked a massage in the spa which is near the children's play room so instead of a relaxing hour, I heard kids screaming and adults conversing right outside the space..... not a good set-up. Also, the beds are futons and the mattresses have a permanent impression in them so it wasn't very comfortable. I wish Expedia gave me the option of booking the hotel versus the apartments because what we got was not the kind of holiday we were looking for. If we return to Val Gardena, we will stay elsewhere. "

"PROS: -Large apartment, very well equipped, with a balcony offering a BEAUTIFUL landscape -Includes parking -Good location. The town itself is beautiful and very peaceful. We booked here because Ortisei was full, and in the end we liked St. Cristina even more TO IMPROVE: -Cleaning is not included, and they charge EUR 55 if you don’t wash the dishes and take out the rubbish -Check-in is 100% self-service, which feels a bit uncomfortable at first, but in the end everything worked smoothly and quickly"
