It's all in one place.

Posted 10-May-2016
Pros: Organized, clean, well patrolled.
Cons: More water sport opportunities.
Location: Stayed in resort. Nothing really nearby to see.
Everything included. Great security staff. Good food choices. Needs area with calmer water so more water sports (kayaking) can be enjoyed by all. Very relaxing.

Pros: service and how clean it was.
Cons: some rocks in the water to make it calmer
Perfect staff the service from every single one was incredible and always with a smile. Big thank you for Tara at the front desk, Nicole ( the best omelette cook), Damian and Maradonna always looking after our drinks and Dexter arranging our seats at the beach. We had the best lasagna at the Italian restaurant Asiago. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Everyone was trying their best to satisfy and meet all our requests.

On the south Side of the island

Posted 10-Mar-2016
The hotel location is a little far from most of the sight seeing however it is close to the airport and only a $18 cab ride one way. The rooms are comfortable with nice balconies. Pillows however are hard. I recommend making reservations for asiagos which is the Italian restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious their. The other 2 restaurants are buffet most of the time which was ok. You can have dinner as fast or as slow as you want. Nice pool areas with none motorized water sports and a free catamaran evening cruise, about 2hr cruise, which is prebooked on your arrival. The activities people could be a little more helpful and there is a charge for using your room phone even for local calls.

Not worth the money

Posted 23-Feb-2016 on Hotels
We were extremely disappointed in this property. It was advertised as luxury and it looked and felt like a budget motel. Extremely run down. One day of our stay, maintenance was taking out old mattresses from some of the rooms and I can't believe anyone was sleeping on them as they were so filthy. The pool bathroom was dirty and without toilet paper consistently. The cleanliness of the room was okay but one day housekeeping hung up dirty towels from the floor rather than provide new ones. The food was mediocre in Chelonia. We were terribly disappointed in how much we had to spend to stay there especially when we walked next door, which was only a bit more in price, and it was gorgeous. The grounds and pool area at Turtle Beach were dated and not well maintained. The cushions on the lounge chairs by both the pool and beach were very dirty and stained. Because there was a mess up with our reservation, the hotel checked us out after the first night. As a result, Elegant sent us a survey and I completed it with similar feedback. Someone called and to their credit, asked what they could do to help. That was appreciated, however, the things that were lacking at this property couldn't be fixed in a day. They sent us champagne which was nice, but it was the last night of our stay after we'd gone out and we were unable to drink it. There are many nicer hotels in this area for the price.

Great staff. Loved the location. Actually enjoyed the surf, so no complaints there. Would rate the food only good, while everything else was very good.

Decent Location, Needs Updating

Posted 18-Feb-2016
Lovely staff, very accommodating in ensuring you get the room you want. The hotel itself is in need of a big overhaul, the rooms and passageways are a bit tatty but the pools and gardens are nice enough. The food is OK, but even though the hotel was at near maximum occupancy there was sometimes only one place to eat. The adults only pool often saw many families bringing their often screaming kids in which has convinced me I need to book an adults on resort next time.

The hotel was great and located near beach and local shops. The staff was extremely nice andcthe hotel was bery clean. The only disappointment was the food. It could have been a lot tastier and more options.

Lovely hotel right onto a white sand beach

Posted 01-Feb-2016
Pros: Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and position of the hotel right onto a lovely beach and close to St Lawrence Gap
Cons: Perhaps the rooms could be upgraded alittle to be more sophisticated but they were adequate and clean.
Location: Right onto a white sandy beach with water sports and free loungers. Short walk to St Lawrence Gap with bars restaurants and nightlife and nature park
Lovely friendly hotel right onto a white sandy beach. AfFlat 10 minute walk to St Lawrence Gap with plenty of nice restaurants and bars and night life if you want a change from all inclusive. A Good base to explore the island from. Rooms were adequate and clean. Food at the hotel was excellent plenty of choice for lunch and evening meals. There are two al a carte restaurants which open alternative evenings which you need to book. The waterfront restaurant at night is a lovely eating place. There is a buffet available each night which is different each evening and themed which we also found very good. Lunch again was a buffet at the Waterfront which we found very nice. Hot dogs and pizza are available all day long if you are hungry in between and afternoon tea is also served. We were given a free catamaran outing to watch the sun go down which was lovely. Water sports are available. Nothing was to much trouble from the staff who were kind and friendly without being overbearing. There is nightly entertainment provided for those who want it, the four girl group were very good. We had a lovely relaxing stay.
