Decent all-inclusive resort

Posted 14-Apr-2016
Pros: The staff are FABULOUS and super accommodating. The pool area is nice-our daughter had a great time playing in it and on the small beach area.
Cons: The food was very mediocre.
Location: Very good location-in the heart of Holetown, on a great beach.
Overall we had a pleasant experience. The staff is great, the location is excellent. The rooms are ok (a bit shabby, could be updated) and things kept breaking (the fan, the AC, the safe). Everything is expensive in Barbados so the cost was decent for the island, but was quite expensive. The food certainly caters to English tastes; indeed nearly 100% of the guests are British. A lot of fried, salty food. Could definitely have seen a few more real vegetables on the buffet table!

Upea lomakohde

Upea lomakohde rentoutumiseen, jossa varmasti riittää lämmintä. Henkilökunta mukavaa ja all inclusivella syömiset ja juomiset hoituivat vaivattomasti. Suosittelen!

Great all inclusive in centre of Holetown

Posted 14-Dec-2015
Pros: Location on the beach is great - its all inclusive, but the menu changes every day and is rarely a buffet - really nice choices cooked to order.
Cons: Not much really!
Location: Right in the centre of Holetown, which is the biggest town on the West Coast - so variety of walkable shops etc. Tip - get a hire car and drive around
I am a little bit biased by the fact we spent our anniversary at Mango Bay and they treated us wonderfully - everyone was really kind and helpful - the gifts and thoughtful touches in our room were really appreciated. On a practical level you are right on the beach, but can walk around Holetown easily.

A three star hotel

Good food but terribly spicy. Good location. Friendly assistants. Not updated premises. Poor aspect of the building.Excellent water sports but not many sunshades or lounge chairs and not very clean mattresses either.

Good hotel, made better by some great staff. Food is good quality and varied in choice. Drinks at the bar are all branded spirits and good quality. Beach is lovely with some good snorkelling to be had as well as the other complinentary activies. The WiFi is free however it is pretty unreliable, but not a real downside. Overall a very nice place to go on holiday.

Awesome staff! The resort is a quaint boutique hotel that has a lovely beach. The free catamaran ride to swim with the turtles is amazing! The food is quite good, and the service is quite exceptional. The staff is always helpful and sees to it that you enjoy yourself. From the refreshing scented hand towels to cool you down, to organizing tour plans. Although the resort lacks in nightly entertainment, it is situated close enough to other options. We stayed in the Superior room and it looked exactly as the pictures. The bathroom could have been a little more updated, but was always clean. I had an incredible time!

Pleased for the weekend

Posted 08-Jul-2015
Pros: The Staff was very friendly. The rooms were comfortable. .
Cons: The bathroom could use an update There was not a lot of food variety on the menu, need more island food for choice. Food too salty.
Location: The location was perfect for the trip. There was an upscale mall across the street. Eateries all around the hotel. A grocery store up the block.
I enjoyed my stay for the most part. The children had no complaints.

Mango Bay is a Best Kept Secret!

Posted 08-Jul-2015
Pros: Everything! Location, food, room cleanliness, and staff (the staff is exceptional). Too many positive things to list.
Cons: I hope nothing changes because we absolutely had the time of our life!
Location: Swim with the turtles (about a half mile up the beach), snorkel over a shipwreck (about a half mile down the beach), water ski directly at Mango Bay..
Our recent vacation to Mango Bay Barbados exceeded every expectation. The hotel staff was extremely warm and friendly and the locals make Barbados very special. The room was very nice, clean, and efficiently designed. The food and dining was excellent with multiple options for lunch and dinner. Now that we've found Mango Bay Barbados, we have no desire to waste time going anywhere else. We've found our perfect vacation destination! Also, Mango Bay is located on probably the most scenic and clear stretches of ocean on the island. The water clarity is great and the package included snorkeling, swimming with the turtles, skiing, etc. For anyone traveling to Mango Bay, talk with Herbie for any of your watersports desires (Jetski, island tour, etc.). Herbie is a very friendly local who hangs on the beach at Mango Bay. He's a great resource!
