Awesome staff! The resort is a quaint boutique hotel that has a lovely beach. The free catamaran ride to swim with the turtles is amazing! The food is quite good, and the service is quite exceptional. The staff is always helpful and sees to it that you enjoy yourself. From the refreshing scented hand towels to cool you down, to organizing tour plans. Although the resort lacks in nightly entertainment, it is situated close enough to other options. We stayed in the Superior room and it looked exactly as the pictures. The bathroom could have been a little more updated, but was always clean. I had an incredible time!

Pleased for the weekend

Posted 08-Jul-2015
Pros: The Staff was very friendly. The rooms were comfortable. .
Cons: The bathroom could use an update There was not a lot of food variety on the menu, need more island food for choice. Food too salty.
Location: The location was perfect for the trip. There was an upscale mall across the street. Eateries all around the hotel. A grocery store up the block.
I enjoyed my stay for the most part. The children had no complaints.

Mango Bay is a Best Kept Secret!

Posted 08-Jul-2015
Pros: Everything! Location, food, room cleanliness, and staff (the staff is exceptional). Too many positive things to list.
Cons: I hope nothing changes because we absolutely had the time of our life!
Location: Swim with the turtles (about a half mile up the beach), snorkel over a shipwreck (about a half mile down the beach), water ski directly at Mango Bay..
Our recent vacation to Mango Bay Barbados exceeded every expectation. The hotel staff was extremely warm and friendly and the locals make Barbados very special. The room was very nice, clean, and efficiently designed. The food and dining was excellent with multiple options for lunch and dinner. Now that we've found Mango Bay Barbados, we have no desire to waste time going anywhere else. We've found our perfect vacation destination! Also, Mango Bay is located on probably the most scenic and clear stretches of ocean on the island. The water clarity is great and the package included snorkeling, swimming with the turtles, skiing, etc. For anyone traveling to Mango Bay, talk with Herbie for any of your watersports desires (Jetski, island tour, etc.). Herbie is a very friendly local who hangs on the beach at Mango Bay. He's a great resource!

Has everything that any all inclusive would have but also has the service and personal touch that none of them give. Conveniently located close to a supermarket/pharmacy if needed, meals were spectacular. Leanne from guest services greeted us with a smile and gave us a tour. She seen from my passport that it was my birthday on the day I was leaving. After we checked in the lunch service was over and they still made us something to eat instead of turning us away. The day before my birthday at lunch there was a birthday table set for my husband and I. The made a special birthday menu and the Manager of the resort sent a card wishing me a happy birthday. Thats an awesome touch. My husband and I have a dietary restriction and they went to the market just for us to prepare a special meal which was mouth watering to say the least. The positive reviews is what made me choose this place and the service is what will keep me coming back.

Pros: The staff and access to the beach
Cons: If they want to attract a younger clientele then they should update the facilities, i.e. The bedroom /bathroom decor etc.
Location: Easy access to beach, all water activities are included and within very easy walking distance to the town
The staff are lovely and the food is of a good standard. Believe it suits the older generation with the facilities and entertainment at the hotel. Very easy access to holetown without the intrusion and noise that could go with it.

Ticked all the boxes for a relaxing winter break

Posted 30-Dec-2014
Pros: Friendly helpful staff
Cons: Perhaps more fresh fruit at breakfast / afternoon tea time.
Location: Perfect location nice and easy
Excellent all round experience for our holiday. Spacious clean rooms, friendly helpful staff. Location perfect for a short break (1 week) no reason to go anywhere except the beach. Plenty to do for teenage kids water sports etc. nightclubs round the corner. Cocktails were great and plenty of them too. Food was very acceptable, though we preferred buffet style meals as it was quicker in and out back on to the beach ! There was plenty of fish on the menu and salads. Bar service on the beach was a real treat with cooling flannels to take the heat out of the day. The hotel was relaxed and easy going, despite the evening dress code which we didn't mind at all.

BOA VIAGEM E NÃO PERCAM A HARISSON'S CAVE!

Posted 29-Dec-2014 on Hotels
Ambos valem a pena.

We'll be back to Mango Bay

Posted 24-Dec-2014 on Hotels
Very friendly staff at Mango Bay, made us feel at home. Special shout out to Keisha and the other front desk ladies. The free activities at the hotel are great. And the drinks, very tasty and strong. Kudos to the bartenders! Only downside, the construction that was happening on Sunday morning outside our room :(
