"The hotel itself was nice enough but we were very disappointed on arrival to find that the bar and the restaurant were both closed for reasons my Spanish was not good enough to understand. The promised restaurants in the village turned out to also be closed but we were eventually able to find some snacks at a bar. Having specifically booked a place with bar and restaurant it is very annoying to have to traipse around finding something to eat after a day's travelling. "

The restaurant below is great as well, quite the varied menu for the size of the town. "Lovely place. Fantastic staff. Great breakfast and lunch (we didn’t have dinner). Feels like it’s not been touched since Franco’s time but so atmospheric and charming.
