I'll start with the good stuff. The place was fairly clean apart from a couple of roaches spotted here and there in the common areas, the staff are generally nice, the location is okay.
The negatives are that the beds are rock hard. I know the standard in Thailand is a firmer mattress but these were beyond anything else we've experienced. I think its something to do with them being leather maybe. There's probably a few people who would be into that but it's not so good for sleeping. We booked for our room to include breakfast. At first we were told that it didn't include breakfast until I showed them my booking and after phoning someone they told us that we could have 2 slices of toast and 2 eggs but anything extra including juice, coffee or tea would have to be paid for. Even in the other places we've stayed in Thailand that didn't include breakfast, we were offered free coffee and tea on tap. This meant that we were spending 160-360 baht extra a day on additions to our breakfast. They even charged us to put a slice of burger cheese on top of my omlette.
The room is generally fine other than the bed. The TV didn't work and theres no storage for clothes so it's not great for a long stay. There's a clothes rail above the bed but no hangers.
All in all it was pretty uncomfortable and we realised that there are better deals offered on basic rooms in the hotels in the city that include a full breakfast so we were happy to move on to somewhere else.
