This was a very comfortable stay. Check in was quick. The staff member made me feel welcome with his pleasant manner and smile. The room and facility were clean. The bed was comfy. A nice tub for soaking and the shower in the morning has fantastic pressure. Great stay. Toilet paper was a little rough but small on the grand scale. Would definitely stay again.

On our last night in Banff, my granddaughter and I decided to have supper at the Carlito's Pizza, a restaurant located inside Banff Inn. I ordered the baked spaghetti and thank goodness my granddaughter had the pizza instead. As soon as we got back to our room, I started feeling unwell. I had developed diarrhea and at 2 AM I started throwing up. Obviously, this review is not about Banff Inn (which I have rated very well) but it is a call for more stringent measures to safeguard the health of every customer in restaurants in Banff.

We visited Banff the weekend of March 1st. On February 29th there was a terrible snow storm that closed the highway between Calgary and Banff due to a 75 car pileup. We called to see if we could cancel our reservation the following day but were told they required 72 hours notice. They went on to say that people were still getting through and we would lose our money for both nights of our stay if we decided not to come. We asked if maybe we could reschedule but were again told no. Based on their response, we decided to go rather than lose our money. The roads were ice covered and in terrible condition and just after the park gate was a complete whiteout. Luckily we did make it but we would never stay at this property again. The greed is unbelievable.

This was a great hotel, we were here for a midweek stay right after a long weekend and parking and the hot tub were very quiet. The pizza place onsite has great pizza! Our only complaint was the beds were very hard.

The hot tub area is really nice. Also had a sauna and steam room. Underground secure parking is nice. The room is pretty bare bones though. Bed a litttle lumpy, heater is loud, bathroom quite small.
