9.4/10 Exceptional! (31 reviews)
Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The afternoon tea was good. There was even a farewell drink, not just a welcome drink. The building is about four storeys high. The owner was very friendly too. Great experience at this hotel!

Friendly staff. Close location to everything. A little overpriced for what it is but I also came during the festivals.

9/10 Wonderful! (846 reviews)
Let me start by saying the room was excellent. Spacious, clean and well appointed with a decent balcony. However I did think booking the hotel that the hotel was in spacious grounds. The rooms, rather like appartments, sit around a central swimming pool. The pool is great but as I say the hotel did not feel spacious. The dining room is also across a busy road. It sits right on the river which is lovely but feels separate to the hotel. Any drinks etc you order come from there.
I also tried to contact the hotel twice before I arrive to organise an airport pick up but no response.
GRAB is great as a taxi service from the hotel and nowhere seemed more than b80.
Overall not a bad experience, just not outstanding.

"It just an okay stay. Our expectations were much higher after our similar or cheaper rate stays in Chiang Mai Hongkhao Village and Mora Boutique in Chiang Rai. The View as a hotel is beautifully designed but not maintained to standards. Staff is not trained to take care of customers. The view from ..."
