Battered Woman's Shelter lodging purchased by city
This hotel, Fairfield Inn & Suites Baltimore Downtown/Inner Harbor, transformed ALL ROOMS to a "battered woman's shelter" and a security officer stated we should have been notified by the hotel and agencies involved. After a 2-hour drive, I had to find accommodations for 2 days on our phone. I receive confirmation emails from Hotels.com. DO NOT BOOK AT THIS HOTEL !!!

Never Again!
First of all, the night front desk receptionist had no professionalism. Very short, not welcoming and kept leaving the front desk to chat with a group of "friends" outside. She was just so rude and after a 12 hour drive, it was not the best first impression in Baltimore. Secondly, we booked the hotel because it was all Non-Smoking, I have asthma that is easily agitated by the smell of smoke. We go up to the floor of our room, as soon as the elevator opens, It smells like weed. We disregarded that until we open the door of our room and it smelt like someone had been smoking for days in there. I called down to ask for another room, we would of had to pay for individual rooms and were not guaranteed they wouldn't smell either and we couldn't get our money back for the original room. My family and I were booked to stay 3 nights, after the poor front desk customer service and the horrible room, I cancelled the remaining reservation and moved to another hotel. Oh and good luck finding parking the hotel only has 8 parking slots for 100+ rooms.

Stay at Fairfield It’s worth it!!

I had a good stay but I wanted a suite, they didn’t have it anymore so they gave me two rooms with a walk through door. There also was not a microwave on neither side I was very upset. Lucky my friend had her own room with a microwave.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Overall, my stay was good...hotel, room, location were all great. My only complaint would be the loud party that was going in the next room. The first night my friend was not able to sleep and the second night I did not get much sleep. I had checked in around 7 p.m. and the music was already extremely loud and kids screaming. When I asked about changing rooms, there were only 3 rooms in the hotel like the one I had chosen and unfortunately they were all booked...so we had to deal with the loud music all hours of the night.

Wonderful stay!

Great stay
I am huge on reviews so that’s why I originally chose this hotel and I have to say we had an excellent experience. The staff were wonderful and the lady at the desk gave us a free upgrade to a suite as she said it would be a little more spacious with kids. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. We also had free parking around the side of the building. It was an easy walk to everywhere we were going. I highly recommend this hotel!

I would recommend staying at this property. The breakfast was satisfactory and had plenty of options to choose from. Our room was clean when we got there and the hotel was easy to navigate. The bar staff and bar were nice enough. The only thing was they did close early the one night we stayed for an undisclosed reason. Overall the hotel was a 5 min walk to Power Plant Live and a 10 min walk to the inner harbor. There were plenty of places to go see and eat from this location. Our next time in town we'll be checking the availability.

Hotel is close to everything. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The bar at the hotel was disappointing. Staff there was rude. No one came to get orders we had to bring food from our room in and they proceeded to yell at us that no outside food was allowed. Still never brought the menu or took an order. We were with a large group celebrating milestone birthdays. They also served the drinks in plastic cups. Only after we went to the bar and ordered.

The best thing about this property for me was the ability to walk to and from Power Station Live! And with the valet parking, I didn't need to struggle with a thing. Not a bad price for a king size room at the inner harbor. Sounded a bit much for valet parking but later on looking back, it was worth it.

Close to harbor, shops and restaurants. Hotel is clean and staffs (especially Monet )are friendly, approachable and professional. Check in and out of the hotel is quick.

Good hotel, clean and convenient to get to Inner Harbor. Parking is expensive, would recommend you looking into pre-paid parking before going as there are many parking garages within walking distance,

Great hotel and wonderful staff. The location is walkable to Inner Harbor and Rams Head/Power Plant. Bed was a little rough two days later and my back is still killing me.
