"We had a wonderful time in Westport for a friend's wedding. My husband and I--with our four-month-old son--and my parents were very comfortable in the spacious, lovely spot right in the center of town. I was so grateful for the ease of check-in and the attentiveness Seamus showed us whenever we had questions. Highly recommend this as the best spot in town if staying for a bit to explore this beautiful area!"

"We absolutely loved Brownstone Lodge. Perfect location near Lough Carra in County Mayo. We were able to do some fishing when the weather allowed. The remoteness of the location was amazing, so quiet and so peaceful. And the lodge was well stocked, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the company of our caretakers and they made sure that we had everything that we needed. We had a lovely time and we cannot wait to come back!"

"It is a really good house for a group of up to 10 people. It's three minutes from Westport by car and easily walkable too. The house overall was extremely comfortable and well equipped. The beds were really good quality and comfortable too. The only thing I would suggest is it would be great to have a few additional en suites but it worked well as it was for our group. We all agreed that we would happily rebook The Rocks were we to return to Westport again."

"The Walsh's home is a perfect haven. Everything was exactly as noted with beautiful details to all the remodeling done. The location is on a relatively quiet road that is about 2 miles from end to end and makes a perfect walk in the AM or PM. You may have a few sheep or others who demand a photo or two. Short distance to Cong and Ballinrobe, Oughterard, and Maam area are lovely to explore. Michael stays in contact as needed as well as gives you space to explore. I will return, hopefully!"

"We enjoyed a fantastic week at this wonderful property in a stunning location on Lough Mask. The facilities are excellent and Thomas (the host) was brilliant - so kind, thoughtful and welcoming. "Our stay was excellent. Beautiful cottage in an excellent location, close to Castlebar with good road connections for touring the beautiful county of Mayo. The hosts Declan and Laura are very welcoming and very accommodating. Absolutely lovely people. A real genuine "Cead Mile Failte" is felt here. "A couple of miles from historic Cong. The main house is also a B&B. Everything was as advertised. It would have been nice if the big drip coffee maker worked (no filter papers and not sold in the local store). Cong itself is well worth exploring with its ancient ruins and good walking trails."

"We had an enjoyable stay in the cottage. There is a lot of useful information material, but some information was outdated (WiFi password, name and number of the local manager, number of the proprietor). This made it difficult to contact manager or proprietor when we encountered a problem. Once contact was established, the problem was resolved smoothly. There is a nice 8 km walk starting from the cottage, the finest part of which is a stretch of coastline that is only accessible at low tide....

"Overall the property was generally clean and basic. Alot of cobwebs (inside & out) and flies (dead and alive). The stairs to 3 bedrooms upstairs was unsafe, too steep and carpet nails and rips were dangerous throughout the house. The central heating was only warm upstairs and bearly tepid downstairs. The ensuite shower down stairs was modern, but smells of blocked & dirty drain and also had very poor water pressure. Overall we would not recommend the accommodation due to safety of the stairs."

"For us 4 anglers on the River Moy (Armstrong route) an ideal starting point. Short distances to our fishing route. On the whole we were also satisfied with the accommodation. "It was nice and quite, just to hear the road sometimes. It was easy to check in and out and the owners are very friendly. Just the house need a bit more cleaning. There are many spiders and spider webs. And the beds would be better if there get some new mattress."
