Great choice for Ubud
Best staff, best breakfast, wonderful property. We loved our stay here. The pool is tranquil and quiet, they offer a free shuttle service in the area. Loved it!

Recommended for a chilled stay in Ubud
I stayed here with a friend and we had a great time, the staff were so friendly and helpful and were fab at helping us book taxis/do laundry etc. Local area has some great restaurants within a short walking distance (Alchemy, Pacha Mama, Dumbo) which was a real highlight. Room was also very comfortable and felt like great value. There were a few building works going on but these weren't disruptive, and my only point for improvement would be to have a few more vegetarian options on the menu as we were keen to eat when we first arrived. However with great places nearby as mentioned, this wasn't really a big problem. The wifi was a bit patchy but I think this was the whole of Ubud and not this particular hotel.

Nice resort but terrible restaurant
Beautiful resort with great pool and friendly staff... However it’s a bit far from town and the food from the restaurant wasn’t good. Also they overcharged for taking us to the monkey Forrest. Their free shuttle stops at the palace and it’s a 15 min walk from there so 75000 is way to much.

Beauty on a budget! Loved our stay at Y Resort. If you are on a budget, this one ticks all the boxes and the LOCATION is perfect. So close to amazing cafes, easy and central to many of Ubud's attractions and a free shuttle to and from the city centre to make it even easier. Best things about this boutique 3-star treasure? The Staff! They were all so amazing, friendly, helpful. Just ask them if you need something and they have it under control. Breakfast each morning was a treat - we loved the Indonesian options and being vego as well, it was easy for us to choose. At certain times there is a buffet option, for us this wasn't as good because it had meat, dairy and eggs so less choices. But every day there is fresh fruit, tea etc and if you need something else, just order. Our airconditioning was leaking onto the floor, we mentioned this and it was fixed straight away. Our neighbours on the final night were noisy - talking and drinking with friends in their room until after 1am - but apart from that, everything was wonderful. We unwound here so well. PS: the wifi is unreliable but my husband has offered some suggestions on how they can improve that, and the staff are definitely aware it needs to be sorted. But hey, some down time from your devices isn't a bad thing!

Staff is great, pool is clean, shower has good pressure and hot water. Hotel could use new clean linens all bedding and towels are stained. Curtains need replacing as well. For the price it was good and the staff are exceptional no complaints with them.

Great place not far from Ubud center
I only planned to stay three nights but ended up here for 7 after getting Sick. The staff were great and always took good care of me. The pool was really nice and often got it to myself.

Room was very spacious. Pool area was very well maintained and a lovely place to relax. Staff were fantastic. During a casual conversation whilst checking in I mentioned it was my daughters birthday and later that evening staff arrived at our room singing Happy Birthday and presented her with cake. It was a much appreciated gesture.

Wouldn't stay again
The staff at the resort are really nice and friendly however the service they provide is not good. The hotel was empty maybe one or 2 more couples were there but it would take them a long time for simple requests. The shuttle times also need improvement as there is a shuttle service at 4pm and then 8pm nothing at 6 which is the time that you really need it. The pool area was nice but aince it is next to a main road it ruins it because you cab hear all the traffic.

Good value for money, however had a few messups :)
Y Resort is a cute, small hotel, located about 5-7min drive to Ubud center (Ubud palace). Hotel provides a free bus shuttle to and from the city center every 2 hours, however this service was unavailable on 1 day that we stayed there. On the other hand, taxi to Ubud center (booked not from the hotel) will cost you less than £2. Staff could be more friendly and helpful at times. For example, nobody helped us to unload the luggage and take it to reception area, when we arrived. Most of the staff spoke very limited English and there were 4 trainees, which caused quite a few confusions. They kept mixing up our breakfast orders on the days it was menu breakfast. Most appalling breakfast service was on the day, when we had 30min for breakfast before being picked up for a trip. They served only 2,5 breakfasts for 4 of us. My friend took my eggs, because I have asked them to cook mine both sides. They brought my eggs shortly, but not the rest of the breakfast and my other friend didn't get hers served until we asked about it 30min later, which they even haven't started to cook yet. Half of the days they wouldn't serve any fruit, unless you asked for it. On the days there were more guests staying in the resort, a small buffet breakfast was made :) Rooms were cleaned every day, the only thing that bothered us about the rooms that it had a strong damp smell at first. Overall it's still very good value for money!

Overall it was okay. Nice garden with bungalows and the pool was okay too. The room was modern but there wasn't enough lights making it rather dark and the shower wasn't very nice either, it's like standing in the rain which isn't very effective. The breakfast wasn't very generous either making it a bit tiresome after a few days. The service was friendly but the whole hotel had more of a pretentious rather than ambitious atmosfere around it. The internet connection is below acceptable standard too! To summarize everyting, The standard of the hotel is okay but it feels like they've taken too many shortcuts regarding the service, internet and the room for the price to be defensible.

Pretty good place in Ubud
This is pretty good, smaller, almost boutique style hotel in Ubud. It is off the main U area between Monkey Forest and the Palace, and better if you have a motorbike, but not that far, maybe 1km to the Palace. Anyways, best Nasi Goreng place in Bali just across from the hotel, nice pool, nice room, ok breakfast. What was NOT ok was NOT working internet! And for this we were really upset, they didn't fix it at all despite saying. I think it is just a standard that internet in this place doesn't work well or not at all. To check or to work or to send something you have to go outside to other places. Not good. Also there was "interesting" smell in the room from the bathroom if you don't have put on AC. Other than these two points, the place is really nice

30 min walk into town with a decent sized pool
Its a me too kind of place trying to emulate top end designer resorts, but quite pleasant. Good lap pool, friendly staff etc etc. A bit dog eared around the edges and aging quite fast in a Fitzcarraldo fashion but good value and wouldn't have an issue staying there again

Good value, but terrible front desk
We found a deal on Hotels.com and booked it, paying in full. But at checkout they charged us again, and for even more than the full rate. When we pointed out the problem, they promised to reverse the charge. They seemed to be having technical difficulties (also at check-in), and we had a boat to catch, so we took their word and left. Now I have to get the credit card company to chargeback to them.

ウブドセンターまで定期送迎があるのでお願いしましたが、夜8:15の約束の迎えをてども来ませんでした。ウブド王宮は各ホテルの送迎車発着場所で、まわりは次々と迎えの車に乗り込み消えて行くのに、私は一時間待ちましたが来ませんでした。慣れない土地で夜遅くなり、不安にかられ自力で帰りました。ホテルにたどり着き、私が文句を言う前にフロントスタッフが謝ってきた。ドライバーはセレモニーのために帰ってしまい迎えに行けなかったと。知っていたならなぜ代わりのドライバーを迎えによこさなかったのか。バリ島は宗教第一ということは理解していますが、ホテルスタッフにすっぽかされたのは初めての経験でした。

Verblijf ligt op een berg op loopafstand van Ubud. Een mooie rustige omgeving, waar je weinig meekrijgt van het verkeer. Werkt veel jongpersoneel die alles voor je doen en ten alle tijden klaarstaan.

Vi bodde bara på hotellet i 3 nätter, men hade en bra upplevelse. Bra enkel frukost. Jätte trevlig personal som alltid va glada att se en. Det negativa var poolen inte va nå bra då den var smutsig. Wifit fungerade inte i vårat rum. De erbjöd skjuts till centrum för 100.000rp, fast taxichaufförerna i centrum tog 50.000...

Hôtel correct
Belle hôtel en général . Les chambres sont correct mais sans plus . En revanche ils y a beaucoup de bêtes qui rentre dans les chambres .Le ménage est fait vraiment a la va vite. Et le petit dejeuner est pas top !

Härligt ställe med rofull trädgård och pool, ligger ungefär en kvarts promenad från centrala ubud men med många restauranger och dylikt i närheten. Perfekt ställe för avkoppling och en bra utgångspunkt för promenader längst floder och så vidare. Lite myror i sängen och ödlor på terassen men det var mest mysigt!

superbe séjour à Ubud
Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits au Y Resort d'Ubud et sommes plus que ravis !! L'hôtel ne comprend que des petites chambres donnant toutes sur un sublime jardin avec piscine à débordement (des plus agréable après une longue marche dans les rizières avoisinantes), le personnel est très accueillant, des navettes sont mises en places plusieurs fois dans la journée pour aller dans le centre d'Ubud situé à 20 minutes a pied (ce qui permet d'être dans loin de l'agitation et dans un calme absolu !). vraiment, nous conseillons vivent cet hotel et y retournerions avec grand plaisir !!
