Hi NatalyaThank you for the lovely review. Good breakfast and kind and helpful staff is always very nice for us to hear. We try our best. Our breakfast we have recently added to the buffet offering, now you get the best of local and western dishes, eggs cooked anyway you like, bacon, we've even started to offer yoghurt and muesli which has proved hugely popular. Come back soon and maybe next time stay for a while to go scuba diving. We offer course, fun diving, try diving (fo rthose who have never done it before), even snorkeling. All activities can begin or end with a great lunch in our resort restaurant. Best Regards Michael

Hotel was wonderful and the management and staff are very kind and loving. I was feeling myself as If I’m home. I was amazed at the wonderful treatment of animals at the hotel and how well stray animals are treated, and the staff are really animal lovers. The view was also so beautiful because of the ocean view and the sound of waves was so peaceful.

Ok for a night
Room was actually ok. Felt like they were trying. However, son’s sheets were dirty. The bathroom really needs help! The toilet seat was too small for the toilet. The faucet was corroding, the counter around the sink was falling apart. There was no hot water. The breakfast was very nice.

Hi Anonymous, Thank you for review. It would have helped us if you would have mentioned anything to the Front Office Staff, so at least we could rectify any issues. To my knowledge, yes, bathrooms can use a renovation but seats match the toilets. Hot water should be there, unless a fuse has blown, and if nobody reports this, it makes it hard for us to know. Guarantee, the sink is not falling apart, as this would have been noticed by our Housekeeping staff and reported. Have a great day

Good dive resort immediately at the waterfront. The wet room was well equipped and the staff was nice. Would recommend the resort.

Very eco-friendly. Zero plastic waste from rooms! Beautiful location great pool and dive tank, good food, helpful and friendly staff and great view! Air-conditioning works great too. Room also has fridge and hairdryer (and tv if for some reason you need it!)

Eco-friendly with refillable 19 L water jugs in rooms instead of disposed plastics, do not use throw away shampoo or body wash plastics and laundry of room stuff every 2nd day which is all you actually need! Beautiful pool and dive tank for the scuba diver, great location across from beach. Great staff. Cozy clean room with balcony and good sea view. Next time I'll learn to dive!

Padangbai is a mafia town - AVOID!
The hotel itself was great. Olivier, the manager, is a good guy. The problem was the town in which the hotel is located (Padangbai), which is controlled by the mafia. They monopolize taxis, shuttle busses, fast boats, and ferries out of Padangbai. They harass and intimidate all online taxis (eg. Grab) and metered taxis (eg. Blue Bird). Most refuse to even enter the town. When I was leaving Padangbai, I arranged a Grab, and the driver told me to walk 10 mins out of town to meet him. The mafia followed me on motorbikes the entire way, and when I reached the Grab driver, the mafia threatened him with physical violence and damage to his car until he drove away. Then the mafia guy got one of his buddies to bring his car around and said he would drive me for 400,000 rupiah. I refused and kept walking. He said 350,000 and I refused again. He said 300,000 (the same price as the Grab) and I accepted. I didnt have much of a choice; they scared off my Grab and were still stalking me so I couldn't call another. They said they would do the same with a Blue Bird taxi. So I got in, arrived at my destination, then the driver demanded 400,000. That's not what I had agreed to. We went into the hotel and the staff translated. Apparantly, the mafia guy had told his buddy 400,000 and told me 300,000 - and the buddy had already paid the mafia guy 200,000 as a "finders fee." The mafia guy lying to us was bad, but extorting the driver for 200,000 for stalking us and scaring off our Grab was worse.

Dear Patrick, Thank you for taken the time reviewing our Resort. I do feel for you what happened with your Grab, but in all fairness, you have been asked to rate us as a Resort. I'm sure you can understand that rating us with a 2/10 will impact us with a negative view of our Resort, were I think we agree, this could have happened in any place you stayed in Padang Bai or Indonesia as a whole. Restaurant food was really good and breakfast was included in my package. It is right on the beach, it has a nice cool which they used to teach diving. It's a little rundown, and right on crazy busy road.

Fatastic location, comfortable room, good service
Fantastic location, right on the harbour, and near plenty of other places to eat. Hotel food was also good, and complimentary breakfast was substantial, with good choice. Steep stairs to first floor rooms, very comfortable, but small bathroom. We even had harbour glimpses from our balcony. Good air con, good range and reception for satellite TV (incl English channels), but wifi was patchy or even non-existant at peak times. Even though we were not divers, it was still a great place to stay and outside decor added atmosphere, and real holiday feel the moment we stepped inside.

cute resort,staff unpleasant and badly organized
the resort is located in front of the sea port which is very nice, and there are two beautiful beaches within easy walking distance. as soon as we arrived the staff initially welcomed us well, then they behaved very badly promising that we would have done a day of snorkling but instead they invented all excuses for not making us do as if the money sucked, which among other things very expensive.the newly arrived room was very dirty, with a toothbrush on the ground and flies and ants everywhere. the restaurant is very expensive staff friendly but very slow. there are many restaurants nearby that are not taxed. if it had not been for the staff so unpleasant and false we would have returned.but never again!!!!

This hotel was nice. It was a great location as a starting point to travel to the Gilis. It was less than a five minute walk to the ferry terminal. The room had everything we needed, including a water container. We stayed in the room facing the water, which offered a great balcony to relax on. The spa was also nice. The massage was great for the price.

Right on the beach front and great pool and outdoor bar and seating facilities compared to what else we saw of Padangbai. Only stayed here for one night before our boat to the Gills and it served that purpose well. There isn’t too much to do in Padangbai so the pool was a very welcome addition to our stay. Delicious pizza and breakfast.

Really average. Wifi was good. Room was pretty dismal. Sheets were dirty, no hand soap, fridge didn't work until I moved and plugged it in another powerpoint. There was a list on the minibar for prices but nothing was in the fridge. Service was really good though. Buffet style breakfast was delicious though. Staff were really friendly and the pool is very nice.

We stayed here for two nights, on our way to and back from Gili Air island. The resort is near where the fast boat, Bluewater Express is. We had a fine room, breakfast included, and they coordinated shuttles to and from the airport. The pool was lovely and ordered drinks from bar that's a next to pool...

Convenient and beautiful waterfront ambiance
The hotel is just across a narrow, scenic, street from the snorkeling and scuba boats anchorage and a few hundred meters from the Lombok ferry terminal. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, with balconies overlooking the hotel's attractive courtyard and pool. Friendly, efficient staff. Lovely open air dining area, though several items on the restaurant menu were not available. Definitely a place I'd like to stay again.

I stayed at Padang Bai for one night in May 2015 with my friends as a short weekend break from our volunteering project in Ubud. Given how inexpensive the cost to stay was I really should not be entitled to any complaints because it was excellent value for money. The room was spacious with two beds, a clean toilet (with a slightly malfunctioning toilet) and a balcony looking over the lush greenery in Bali and could spot the sea from the corner. Staff were very friendly and provided welcome drinks on arrival, as well as the wifi code and coupons for free use of beach towel. Unfortunately for us, the air con in the room would not work, which didn't help at night when the air was stifling but apart from that there were no issues. I'm sure if we bothered to tell the hotel staff about this rather than attempt to make it work ourselves there may have been an improvement! There was a large range of food available for breakfast from eggs, toast, pancakes, cereal, fresh fruit and fresh juices and lots of pastries. Since we had heard much about their pizza we opted to stay in for dinner and did not regret it since the pizza was very appetising. I am giving this hotel a 4 star rating overall but if the rating was based on value for money alone it would definitely be 5 stars. I had an excellent time here with my friends and I recommend it to anyone staying for a short while at Padang Bai.

I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL
This hotel is not a resort-the building/garden are nice. Location is convenient if you take a boat to go diving or snorkeling-otherwise there is nothing to do in PadangBai-you can't swim: the "beach" is very small and dirty. In the streets you are stopped every 2 mn by a vendor or someone asking if you want a taxi.This hotel is too expensive. We paid 70$ a night which is a considerable amount-even for Bali-for this kind of hotel. The room was very noisy: ferries would horn every 2 hours - even at night! We were 1st floor, under the metallic roof: when it's raining you can barely hear yoursef think! The breakfast was ok The menu for lunch/dinner is good-the pizzas are very good too. The problem is that everythig costs you double price here: shuttle from the airport is 40$ - when is't 20/25$ anywhere -1 hour massage is 150.000idr when usually 65/80.000 and worst of all: the staff is completely USELESS - ask anything at the 3 girls playing with their smartphone at the front desk and they'll tell you to go out and take the information somewhere else. In the restaurant not less than 5 people are standing and sometimes it's hard to find a clean/ready table.Girls were not kind, you have the impression to annoy them when you ask something-they always look bored when it's about working.I don't recommend this hotel unless you are here to learn diving (we didn't try but it looks professional). It would be Ok if 40$ a room or if it really improves quality and SERVICE.

I only stayed at Padang bai beach resort one night but I will be back! Friendly staff, diving instructor super arranging, many dive sites in the area.. Blue lagoon a short walk from the hotel, and the best pizza in town are waiting for you when you come back from all your activities!

We only spent couple of hours in the hotel due to our travel arrangement therefore we did not use any of the facilities . We asked for takeaway breakfast as we were leaving as early as 4 am but because the kitchen was closed they couldn't prepare anything for us. We asked them at around nine but that was too late got such a request. Room was nice, bathroom very basic but that is all we needed for one night.

Good stop off before Gili Islands
Stopped here for one night before heading over to the Gili Islands. The hotel was good, pool nice, buffet breakfast, clean rooms. No complaints. The cocktails at happy hour are lethal! (Bali has a standard single measure of 45mls in many places)

Ideal location for exploring
Good location, only reason we stay here. If you are not diving or of German descent staff do not bother initiating any interaction with you at all even if you are a return guest.The pool is great if ' not in use by divers' as they always have preference. it is basically for divers and any one else just has to accept that or go elsewhere, as I will be next time Im in Padang Bai.

Good place to stay in Padang Bai
We got there a few days after the negative press surrounding Padang Bai so were a little bit concerned but were pleasantly surprised. The hotel's restaurant was very nice and the food very good, with a pizza kitchen and a good international menu.

여기 괜찮아요. 특히 호텔내에 다이빙풀과 PADI 다이빙 강습까지 가능하기 때문에 아주 편리합니다. 저도 일박만 하려다가 6일을 머물면서 다이빙라이센스 까지 따고 틈틈히 길리섬을 포함한 주변 관광지도 둘러봤어요. 바로 옆에 다이빙명소인 Blue Lagoon 이 있고 길리섬과 롬복섬에 가는 쾌속선을 탈수 있는 파당항구까지 있고 발리 주요 관광지인 Besakih 사원, Taman Tirtagangga, Tenganan Pegringsingan 등이 주변에 있어서 발리섬 관광의 거점이 될수 있는 곳입니다. 특히 좋은 점은 한국인.중국인이 전혀 오지 않는 곳이고 조용하고 친절하고 별장같이 편안한 분위기여서 편하게 쉬면서 발리섬을 즐기기에 이상적인 곳입니다.

friendly hotel
Very nice hotel with great pool and good food. The beach in front is mostly occupied with boat and not suitable for snorkelling. The Blue Lagoon is a small place where you could swim or snorkelling from the “beach” if it is very very calm weather otherwise not. The white sandy beach is good and have restaurants and is possible to use even if the wind is there.
