"I have no high expectations for an airport hotel, but I’ve also had some good experiences at other Miami International airport hotels. This one…..not so much. No room available after the 4P guaranteed checkin. In the end we got room within 30 minutes and a little lobby wait. Staff was very apologetic We asked for a shower cap at the front desk. We waited about 15+ minutes in the lobby while they ran around looking before they told us someone would bring it to the room. No one ever showed. The TV repeatedly turned itself off after about 30 seconds, so there was no way to watch it. The hotel is a 10 story atrium so every room enters from the atrium. Extremely loud music live blared until 8:30P. Even on 7th floor there was no way to get away from it. Selection was nice….just crazy loud in the room. The hotel sits at the end on MIA runway. Sounded like jets were in our room every few minutes till about midnight. Even then then took off all night. There’s a rail running just below the hotel. Trains come through with full horns all night….i counted 4 from 10P to 5A. Parking at $30 per night is higher than onsite parking at MIAMI International. Trust me, there are way better options near Miami International. "

"Hotel is new, clean and massive, with lots of good restaurants and pools. However, seems that the infrastructure isn't built to support busy days (Passover/Easter week): we ended up waiting 15-20 min for elevators (Tresor tower), there were never enough towels available at the poolside, etc."

"Worst Customer Service Ever – Do Not Stay Here! I’ve never been so disappointed with a hotel stay in my life. I stayed at the Gail Hotel for four days and paid over $1200 for the privilege, only to be treated horribly. The customer service was absolutely terrible, and I’m honestly shocked that a hotel could operate like this. First off, I had a package delivered there, and it took me until the very last day of my stay to finally receive it. The guest services team was unhelpful and rude—every time I inquired about my package, I was interrupted mid-sentence, transferred repeatedly, and at one point, they hung up on me. It was beyond frustrating. The restaurant service was equally bad. The gratuity is already included, so I think the staff just doesn’t care about providing decent service. The food was mediocre at best, and the staff wasn’t attentive at all. It’s clear they don’t make an effort when they’re guaranteed a tip regardless of the quality. The room was bare minimum—cheap bottled water and no tea in the room, which is a standard offering in most places. No amenities, no effort. When I checked in and checked out, there was no bellman to help with my bags, which was incredibly inconvenient. I had to carry my own luggage both times. Even the valet was sloppy and lazy—just no professionalism anywhere. To make things worse, I was charged a different price for valet parking every single day. I paid over $1200 for the stay for 3 days by the way"

"The reception was poor. The clerk was not helpful. There was no drinking glass in the room and tv didn't work. Called the front desk. No answer. Went downstairs. Said the clerk was out for 5 minutes. Waited and he didn't return. The morning staff were wonderfull."
