The pool is the best part of this hotel. The only issue is the pool doesn’t open until 7am which is not convenient at all for early risers who begin work at 8. I recommend they make their pool open at 6 or even 5:30am that is more logical or keep it like the gym 24hrs.

don't sugget business purpose staying in thishotel
I did not sleep well. Someone spoke at next room from 4;00 or 5;00am until 9;00am. I can hear it clearly. The first night dinner, I was chase to pay immediately even I only paid the deposit for the two nights rooms only. (I did not check it the deposit amount, I thought deposit can cover it).

They upgraded our rooms to nice Seaview rooms .Thank you to all the fromt desk staff and managers specifically Mr.Gabash and CR Lady . The only problem is that you have to walk too far from elevator to your room. The room service closes too early. I recommend the massage and SPA.

For a Marriott, the hotel has very low standards. - Service in the restaurant, whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, was extremely slow and inattentive. Too less waiters, too many managers just walking around. - The room service breakfast quality was very poor. Hard bread, old pastry and horrible tea - The spa area was always dirty, full of old towels and no new, fresh towels. In overall, a very poor hotel with bad services

The hotel is located at the seaside with an amazing walkable area around the seaside. Hotel was clean and pretty spacious with 3 restaurants inside the hotel. The negative things is the internet connectivity is poor inside the rooms. Also, the credit card were not working during the event of Formula Car Race at Baku

I was traveling from US and they did not provide me with the extension because they had different sockets. I asked them about 100 times and in the end one of the staff member asked me for 15$ for the extension. Worst experience ever never staying at this hotel again.

Very slow reception, I took 1.5 hour to check in , and 20 min to check out with skip the line they need to improve check out by calling from the room not waiting down for more then 20 min for check out and no outstanding balance

The location was great by the sea and the walking boulevard area and the hotel was absolutely amazing but due to the high demand the check-in and check-out waiting queue time take a lot of time and I mean it!

My check-in experience was awful. The check-in lines are long. For some reason, while having 3 check-in desks and enough personnel, only 1 or 2 work and I had to wait almost 1 hour to get checked-in. However, the wait is not the worst part about this hotel's check-in. The personnel, especially the person who was checking me in (his name starts with S.) was completely contradictory to Marriott's standards. Rude, self-important, lacking any sort of understanding or empathy are just a few words I can describe the hotel's check-in personnel. The person (above-mentioned S.) who was supposed to complete my check-in did not only fail to help me and told me to way over the official 3PM check-in time, but also proved to be totally incompetent, made a lot of cranky, irritating comments and even told me that he would personally not allow me to stay 5 or 10 minutes longer for my check-out, which is bizarre, since I checked out at 5 hours earlier because of my early flight. Lastly, we were not assisted with our bags, were not told about any amenities, were not informed about breakfast location, and were not even explained correctly where our elevators were. The hotel is not easy to get around, especially the first time. In addition, hallways smell pretty bad. I would highly recommend visitors to Baku to evaluate other options, since you can get a lot better deal for the same prices as Marriott Boulevard.
