"Everything appeared as described, the kitchen fully equipped, hot water, A/C fully functional, clean and pet friendly. The only disappointment was the one of the two individual beds was broken and un-usable. Causing discomfort and bickering at night among my two teenage boys sharing single small bed."

"We (4 older adults) enjoyed our stay. The property is situated at the corner of a canal with only one abutting neighbor. It was delightfully peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed many shady hours under the tiki. Once the pool heat was adjusted, we enjoyed a dip every afternoon. There was a problem with the plumbing, but that was taken care of promptly. The plumber was excellent as was the pool man. Our host was very responsive to every request and query. We enjoyed seeing the key deer wandering around the roads and yards. The electric gate keeps most of them out of the yard. "

"Beautiful property and staff that goes out of their way to provide an amazing experience. Don’t expect a swimming beach, but plenty of room for chairs by the water or the multiple pools. Shanda at the sushi bar went above and beyond to accommodate our group and the sushi was delicious. Mahina was a bit disappointing, food was overpriced and our group didn’t enjoy the steak, crab cakes, or Caesar salad. Beach bar food hit the spot! We will definitely be back, thank you for an amazing stay."

"By the description of the property I was was hoping for an amazing experience. The house exterior looked like it was in need of clean up. It just looked like the construction crew left and no one did detail cleaning Our room was on the upper level. It was called the Star room. Apparently there was a methane gas leak somewhere, as our room, the entire stay smelled like an unflushed toilet. It was a lingering odor. We had fans in the room, which helped. The house has this lovely weather vane on the top of the roof, which rotated with the wind. Unfortunately, it needed greasing! It squeaked and made noise all night! I was never able to speak directly to the management. I could only leave a message, and I was never called back. So, if you do rent at this VRBO, be aware,, no management will be of any help. "

"Loved the pool and the porch! Only issue was the bugs on the porch at night, but we enjoyed it all day long. Also, kayaking was very calm and pleasant."

"Beautiful quiet neighborhood! Closest neighbors were the small Key deer. Very nice house- up one flight of stairs. Well supplied, equipped and organized. Host responded quickly. Directions & instructions were excellent; clear & concise. We had a wonderful time."

"Too much confusion during check in process. We were on site for a hour before we were given the remedy to the “door sticking” problem - which we were unaware was even a problem - and could access the property (after being told that we were in a different room on the property and being given the access code to that room also). "I’ll give 5 stars because 99% of the house is good …..but ….fyi for owner ….the mattress in the master bedroom needs to go ….it met its lifespan years ago!!!! "
