Convenient.
Good location near metro for access to Paris. Underground parking (€20/night). Very hot in room (4 people, 10th floor). Sofa bed ok. Super little restaurant ‘Melting Pot’ nearby.

This property is possibly the worst property in Paris. It’s got the worst smell, awful service and the rooms have bed bugs. Please by all means avoid this hotel at all costs. This hotel is the worst,

The staff were okay. We booked a room with double bed and sofa bed. We checked-in and when we unfold sofa bed, it does not have matters, instead of getting a new matters, they were asking us to move a room, that's around 1AM. We were tired after travel and had to fight to get a new room. Staff were able to scramble and gave us a new room, but new room does not have soap and fixtures are broken in bath room. The only positive thing with hotel is staff; when we report an issue they will try to address within their capacity.

The quality of the breakfast was not as expected. There were cracks in the wall in the room where paint work is required. I was expecting a bit more than a budget hotel from Novotel. But the room and breakfast felt more like a budget service.

A two and a half star hotel with rude staff
It is not a four star hotel in a million years. It doesn’t even reach three stars. The hotel staff have no idea of customer service. Many of them were rude. 1. The key to the room did not work multiple times during our stay and we had to go back to reception and make a line to reactive it. 2. Only few of the elevators work up to a point in which a lot of people wait to go up. 3. Three of four times no one answered the gate door. Not even when the car that would take us to the airport tried to enter. We even went inside to ask the security guy at the entrance to open it and he said he couldn’t in a very rude way. 4. To enter to have breakfast there were lines every day of over 33 people even though there were plenty of empty tables inside. When we asked, they said they were under staffed. 5. The person at check in was not welcoming or friendly at all. He didn’t even pat attention to our questions or try to answer them. 6. Even to leave and pick up luggage at reception you have to do it yourself in the storage room (which shall not happen in a four star hotel). 7. The AC did not work in the rooms and the convention’s meeting halls. 8. The room condition is not that of the four stars the hotel portrays at their entrance. It’s more a two and a half.

Proximity to the metro was very good, and the covered parking is safer. I would have liked to be able to open a window even if it was just a crack. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Very busy, check out was nice and simple.

First of all we waited 1 1/2 hours for a cab from the property. We still don’t understand the problem. At the front desk they are understaffed and disorganized. The gym was closed for renovation but no one at the front desk made us aware.. There is no where at the hotel to get water to drink. The vending machines were out of water for 3 days.The rooms are old fashioned and the layout cramped. We had to prop open the drain in the tub for it to drain. Won’t be back.

the hotel rooms where very hot no AC working, te breakfast was not with any verities, the rooms where old for a Novotel and the prize they charging for the rooms, service of the staff was not up to standard and not very friendly and customers service was very lacking in there

The commodities were fine. But the staff was very rude and unhelpful in every way you can imagine !! There is no culture of helping the client for the staff!!! We ordered a taxi at 5 am for the airport and there was another family that ordered the same and they had the nerve to squeeze us all (8 people for a van for 7 !!) in the van !! And charge us the same !! Besides that, the staff from the counter was not helpful in any way ! They just don’t like answering questions!!

Everything was fine but need more check in people. Always a huge line to check in ask for something and large wait times. All elevators weren’t working yesterday and everyone on upper floors had terrible wait. Some took stairs with suitcases. I had to use stairs to find an elevator on lower floor.

St. Denis? probaly not again.
Arrived on Thursday 26th May and all went well. Metro station very close by. Rooms were comfy if a little cold but no problem. We were not able to close the curtains without using force so sleep was interrupted by lights on the outside of the building and the early sunshine in the morning. On the Friday we had breakfast which was a bit chaotic as a result of the number of guests but it was ok. When we returned to the hotel at tea time the lifts were out of order except two which were over subscribed by the visitors. This theme continued through out our stay. Whilst we used the stairs down from our room on the eighth floor at our elderly age we couldnt walk up eight flights. The room was poorly cleaned and we still had dirty cups in our room on Monday when we left Paris as had been there from Thursday. Despite contacting the reception across the weekend we never got any new tea or coffee or milk placed in our room. The area of St Denis is not the best but we never felt threatened when we were out in the eveni8ng but bars and restaurants were few and far between. All in all its not a hotel we will revisit, the staff were generally ok, polite enough but nothing brilliant by any means.

Room in bad state of repair, possibly dangerous.
Shower randomly becomes scolding hot (as in leaves skin red for 24 hours). Seemed dangerous, particularly for an old person as the shower is designed to sit under - hard to escape. Hotel sent a plumber promptly but failed to fix. The plumber noted the bath was also blocked and took the bath plug as part of his repair of that, so we had no choice but to use the dangerous shower. I am not picky about hotels but I am not exaggerating about this shower - it is going to injure someone. Despite the big new TV, many of the other fittings were old and falling appart, for instance the toilet roll holder and bathroom tissue dispenser had both failed and the bedside lights were broken. Location was handy for central Paris, with a big supermarket nearby. Slighly run down area but busy with a lot of life. Breakfast average better food nearby. Lobby comfortable but no bar just vending machine.

Very average stay
For the price of the stay compared to quality, I wouldn't stay here again. The rooms/furniture is quite old and feels outdated (though very big room for Paris standards), and the toilets are in a separate cubicle to the bathroom. Service was also not great, and felt like a nuisance to the staff who didn't feel like serving you.

Convenient location for the price
Hotel location allows for easy access to the city as well as the aiport. Covid restrictions have put a damper on available services, bu they seem to be making their best effort. Breakfast is less robust than I experienced on prior visits, or even what I've had recently at other locations, but there are still good options

Disappointing
I have stayed before in Novotel hotels before but this one was the worst. For start, the room that I ordered via Hotels.com was not available. Moreover I was told this type of room doesn't exist in that hotel. Secondly, the staff was very unfriendly, rude and very unserviceable. I ordered a room with breakfast. But when I checked in the receptionist argued and insisted the room was not ordered with breakfast. Eventually the reservation checked again and confirmed that breakfast was indeed included with room. All in all Im very dissatisfied and I will not come back to this hotel again. I believe and hope this does not represent the rest of the chain.

It was a beautiful hotel. Prior to arrival I asked if we could check in early due to arriving at 9am and check in was at 2. No rooms available and couldn’t check in till 2pm. To waste time, We ate breakfast, good. We even walked to the nearby shopping center. While waiting in the lobby/lounge area the guy bartender was very rude to us, after us sitting on the area where the couches and TV were for 2 hours, he rudely approached us no sleeping here as we were bums off the street! there wasn’t anywhere for us to wait till our room was ready. That’s not how you should treat paying customers in your establishment very poor customer service!! They spoke little to no English, the rooms were very hot like a sauna and no one could help us adjust the temperature. I also wanted to send out a postcard from the front desk and I asked the guy at the counter if he had stamps available for purchase to send off postcards and he said yes. So while I was checking out I asked to buy a stamp and apparently I was given wrong information about buying a stamp the previous night so I couldn’t get my postcard sent out prior to leaving. Overall the location was great, right near the subway station which was the easiest way to get around.

Friendly staff, hotel exterior and lobby looks renovated, but the rooms are quite old and needing upgrading. the room is too hot, aircondition does not work. the window cannot be opened. staff cannot do anything about it.

great stay
We stayed there for 4 days and it was excellent stay. Staff are very helpful and they do speak English also so we felt at home. Only down size was Tv don’t give you option to get subtitle in English as all channels are french spoken with no English subtitles. Food portions were very big worth every penny spent. Will definitely go back there soon.
