The location for this hotel is great for a short stay in Palermo .. close enough to both the port and the city for all the sights. What was very disappointing and we hadn’t been made aware of was the pool area was closed due to the pool being updated with a new tile band. There are no other areas for lying out at the hotel and the hotel reception were not apologetic when we asked about it. The cleaning around the hotel is a little lax. Rubbish, glasses and a water bottle was left by the pool area for the 3 days we were there. The staircase to the first floor was definitely not mopped down or swept either. The same 6 black sticky spots on the first 6 stairs were there for the duration too. The bedroom was nice but again floors were not washed and the bathroom cleaning was a bit haphazard.

Dinner Menu. Just for tourists, should be nice to have a Pizza/Sandwich/Hamburguers. After you enjoy the City, you need to come back to the hotel and have an easy dinner. After Sunset, have a car or use the taxis. The area is dark and full of homeless. Nothing happened... but you don't feel safe walking by.

Nice hotel
Hotel location was in front of the sea but Super noisy, alot of Homeless around and the area is very dirty. The hotel itself has security people Wich helps feeling more safe. The hotel is pretty old and many groups using it.

There is only one thing I didn’t like was that there were no full length mirror in the room. But overall very nice place to stay within walking distance to restaurants and the beautiful board walk along the beach.

Hotel excellent, staff friendly and helpful. Poolside gorgeous with excellent bar. Stayed in room with sea view it was really great watching the boats go by. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel was wonderful! The food is delicious even though it is the same menu everyday. The pool is very nice and the Bartender is amazing at his profession. All the staff are lovely. The view from our room was beautiful. The area around the hotel is old and unfortunately there are a lot of homeless people, but that seems to be the case wherever you go lately. If the government would clean up the area and preserve the beautiful buildings and history of the area , it would be exceptional!!

The property was very clean, the rooms were also very clean and modern. It was across the street from a very lively and family friendly park that had snacks to buy. The only downfall is that the parking in front of the hotel is not private parking so anyone can park there. And because it is public parking there is usually an attendant walking around expecting tips when you try to leave. Overall nice hotel with nice staff and highly recommend.

Human fecal matter in the streets surrounding the hotel. Atrocious service. Zero amenities. Terrible breakfast. Atrocious cocktails. Ok view from a handful of rooms but overall not worth it. City is also pretty homophobic still.

Why play music by the pool?
Lovely hotel, with lovely pool. Though would have been even better, if deafeningly loud music wasn't played at the pool side. Most people were trying to read and even with my headphones turned up to the maximum, I could still hear the music being played

Never again.
I find very little to recommend, my room was nothing special although I paid for a suite, They attempted to switch my rooms to a worse room that smelt. beds are uncomfortable, being two singles pushed together that were different heights, the view was of rubbish and the parking lot. I could never get a sunbed at the pool as it was too crowded. Palmero is a great city, just don't stay here.
