A pleasant 4 night stay. The location for ski access to Tofana area has to be the main draw to this hotel with fantastic panoramic views all around. Unfortunately for us a lack of snow meant we could not take full advantage of the location, the slope next to the hotel was not open for business and the sow making had not yet ventured onto this side of the mountain, the impression we got was this would be the last part of the area to open. Nothing the hotel can do about this though, but it is worth bearing in mind if you are travelling early or late season then do not assume that just because the resort is open for skiing that skiing to/from this hotel will be possible.
As for the accommodation, it was good 3* quality. Rooms spacious and very clean. Heating of the room was restricted to 21 C which was not warm enough, we had to ask at reception and they increased to max by 2 degree which happened to make the world of difference. Also the heating seemed to either switch off or reduce significantly overnight, the room got considerably colder during the night, but warmed up again in time for morning.
The same story really for water temperature, hot yes, but don't expect a steaming hot bath ; and the single radiator in the bathroom was only warm, not hot hot. Took 2 days to fully dry washed ski socks!
Bathroom was large and clean, a full sized bath and well lit sink area.
Views from the room were good but a little restricted. Food reasonable.
