This was the only hotel we stayed at during our week-long road trip around Germany that had what we would consider to be adequate air conditioning. The country was experiencing a record-breaking heat wave when we visited, with some areas topping 110 °F. While several of the places we stayed had air conditioning, most of them only sputtered out mildly cool air that only seemed to accentuate the heat. This hotel had chilly air conditioning that enabled us to actually sleep through the night without waking up drenched in sweat.
The hotel was clean and had modern amenities (we didn't look for a pool or hot tub, so can't remember if there was one). The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and they speak English.
The hotel is right across the street from a decent sized shopping mall and only a couple blocks down the road from historical Sindelfingen. The historical part of town is quaint, with good restaurants, great beer, and some neat little shops. As with most of Germany, don't expect these shops to be open past 5:30pm or on Sundays.
