This hotel is in an old building and they are doing a fabulous job resurrecting a has been in an area where there are few hotels. We had a beautiful room overlooking the river. I am not sure how much noisier it will be once the trams start running on the new tracks. The breakfast was amazing!

Great hotel! The lobby is clean and has a great area to relax and talk. The rooms and hallways could use upgrades due to being a little worn but the room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great and all the staff we encountered were friendly. We had dinner at hotel one night and it was excellent ! Parking has a good space for any size vehicle. About 15-20 minute walk to main city center but you see some tourist sites on way. Overall a great stay !

"City Centre" is a bit of a misnomer as it is a fair walk to the City Centre. The main issues were:- a) the car park was permanently full and there seems to be no system to control car entry so often cars were double parked blocking guests in b) the new Liege tram system is being built so the front of the hotel is currently a large roadwork.

The property is bit far from the train station, no dining close to the property..closet multiple dining options is a at least a 20 min walk to main shoppibg. Area around the hotel not the cleanest neighborhood

This hotel is dated and in need of an overhaul. AC was broken, mattress was filthy, furniture is old and needs replacing. the staff were very nice though. I didnf enjoy my stay at this hotel

Hotel with 80s decor. Rude front desk employee
This hotel is a blast from the past. Nothing seems to be updated since 1986. I was particularly stunned by an employee behind the front desk who was working during the day. I said bonjour twice walking up to the desk to ask something and he didn’t reply back!! I waited and repeated myself until i got a “hi” from him. How is this guy a serious employee in a chain who should greet guests first?? I also called him two days in a row from my room if he could call a taxi for me to bring me to my business meeting and when I came down he said: I forgot to call, let me call him. This happened twice in a row. The second time he even sighed like he was tired of having to arrange this for a guest. Very stunned. I wanted to ask for his name but I felt like he didn’t want to be talked to at all. Because of this I will not stay at this hotel anymore.

I think a 4 star hotel should have fridge in guest room. And a toilet brush. Very good beds, good products in bathroom, very good breakfast buffet

Just great! Stayed here for three weeks. Very cozy place with friendly staff. They got quite well prepared for pandemic times to satisfy the visitors. The room is small, though spacious, nice river view, tiny bathroom with a bathtub, huge table. The only thing was the heating - the system is a bit old-fashioned. All in all, this hotel has its charm and soul. Would recommend :)

Our stay was sufficient(1 night), however, there were stains on the duvet cover as well as shower curtain. In addition, we had scheduled with the front desk a taxi in the morning for an afternoon ride to the train station. When we arrived in the afternoon ready for our taxi, the taxi wasn't there. Then we went to the front desk and asked them where the taxi was and they said it was around the corner. It still wasn't there. Then 5 min passed and then 10 min passed. We went back in to ask the front desk. They said the taxi was arriving currently. Another 5 min passed and still no taxi. We went back to the front desk and they said the taxi was on it's way. After another 10 min a taxi came and we almost missed our train ride.

Dry bad experience!!! The hotel is very old in need of a re furbishment ASAP! I requested an iron and three times it was not working. The air con was not working throughout our stay. We were give free breakfast as a good will gesture for 1 day and then came to know on our check out we had to pay. We booked a double bed and were given twin bed room. Had to go check few room before we found a double bed this was at 5am. One staff member named by CLAY was the only professional person and very helpful to us.

Nice place once you get there.
The inside of the hotel is very nice. They have an excellent on site restaurant. Staff was very helpful. Location to sites of Liege is walking distance if you are in good shape. Getting the hotel parking lot was extremely difficult! Good place to visit if you do need to drive.

Good, comfortable hotel with a great breakfast
My second stay here and I would happily stay again, especially as my room had somewhere on the wall for the shower head this time! A good reasonably priced hotel with a quiet, comfortable and spacious room and a very good selection of items at breakfast. The local area isn't the best but it isn't terrible ... it's about a 10-15 minutes walk into the centre of Liège.

Almost very good, just needs a few fixes.
The room was very nice and clean. Good beds, bathroom and etc. Could it have been better - yes. Staff at front desk was generally helpful but they didn't seem to know how to manage sending a letter/postcard for a guest. The buffet for breakfast was excellent - well worth the price, but the dinner menu was limited and I got one of the toughest steak I have ever tried to eat. The biggest deal is just cosmetic and could be fixed, with a few bucks. You could not tell, from the front outside, you were actually at a hotel. The facade is very flat, limited marking it was a hotel and this in an area that gives a little bit of a shudder. Parking was good/easy. Would I stay here again - yes, but I would look around for a better location and price.

We booked this hotel for travelling to the Spa Grand Prix as closer hotels were very expensive. The location is reasonable for getting to Spa - about 45 minutes. The hotel is quite easy to find but the car park is not obvious - the entrance is about 30 metres to the left of the hotel - parking charged at 12.50 per day plus taxes. The hotel reception is quite inviting and the bar / restaurant looks ok but we did use it instead we chose to walk into the city to eat. This is a fairly easy 15 minute walk. The room was comfortable and very clean but the décor is a little dated. The bathroom was clean and functional. Did eat in the hotel as prices were typically high hotel prices - breakfast 17.50 Euro.

Good hotel shame about the area
The hotel and restaurant was lovely but the area is not that nice. We went into the centre but there were lots of homeless people and we returned to the hotel quite quickly which is a shame. Restaurant was amazing, our waiter told us about the history of the building and the food was very good.

Great hotel but in a very ghetto part of the city. Had secure parking and a good restaurant so if you just stay at the hotel you are fine, the surrounding area seemed very sketchy

Good hotel 10 mins walk to town centre, Hotel has limited car park spaces and that is an extra 12.5 euro a night.

Good Hotel - Awful Area!
This hotel doesn’t look much externally but once inside, the hotel itself is rather nice, with a garden terrace to the rear and good standard of room and lobby area. Outside however is not the nicest part of Liege and could be quite off putting for a more vulnerable traveller. A short 10/15 minute walk along the river brought us to a quite vibrant area of town but in the hour we stayed we witnessed fighting, vagrants and drunks in plentiful supply. If staying in Liege overnight and not venturing out the hotel is good and likewise if you’re not put off by what’s mentioned above the hotel is fine. If you feel like you’d be vulnerable it’s probably best to stay elsewhere.

Better than we first expected.
It's a pity that first impressions count, as our first view of the Hotel was from the front. Not impressive looking in a run down looking area of the city. But once entering the rear car park, a far more respectable establishment revealed itself. Just an overnight stop on a many week journey around Europe, but with a few hours to look around in the evening and then 4 or 5 hours the next day, we were satisfied with our visit to Liege.

A good hotel for business trips
Comfortable room with a kettle and bottled water provided, generally clean and a great breakfast. On the down side the shower head had nowhere to put it on the wall so I had to stand in the bath and hold it above me - very strange! WiFi in the room was fast and free and the heating was adequate and easy to control. I was able to park on the street outside for free but there is also a secure 10 euros a night owned by the hotel near by. The city centre is about a mile away and is a fairly pleasant walk.

Nice riverside hotel in interesting Belgian town
On the riverside, conveniently placed 10 minutes walk from the old city. Clean and comfortable, friendly staff. Only comfort complaint was that room was far too hot overnight and no apparent way to reduce the heat. Even having the window open did not really help. For a Belgian hotel the selection of beer in the bar was very disappointing. Food in the bar and at breakfast was nicely presented but I thought rather overpriced. WIFI at times overloaded. We would be content to stay there again.

Good value for money, very pleasant
This is an older hotel with a little limited staff, but they are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, cleanliness and quiet is good. Location is okay, by the river, but not close to restaurants and shops. Overall, it is good value for the money.

Nice hotel at food price
Great if you have a car as it provides parking (for a charge). This side of the city is not the nicest side which we don't mind but if you prefer something more central than this is not for you. I was with hubby and my son and they provided a smartly designed room with a third bed.
