Description of property in the advert is wildly wrong. Its not "upmarket". There is no bar/lounge, nor on-site parking. The condition of the floor in our room was terrible, with several very loose boards and one large whole where you would have gone through the floor. Whilst the mattresses was new it was rather poor in quality. I have never experienced a duvet that was narrower than the bed itself. Breakfast however was absolutely 1st class.

Lovely Place close to the sea.
One night business trip. The guest house is well placed close to promenade and the town centre. Beautiful views from the prom across to Arran. The owner Paul is very friendly and helpful. My room was vey well appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable. Lots of choice for breakfast too. Can’t fault it.

My stay at the Burnside hotel.
Really nice place . Very near the beach. Overall clean and good size room with a shared but spotless bathroom. Would definitely recommend and stay there again. Bed was super comfortable. Had a great sleep. Nice and quiet at night.
