It was my 5th stay at the property and disappointingly the room air conditioning was not working. It was the warmest day of the year in Barcelona and perhaps I should have reported the fault but I was too tired to do so which I now regret as it was a most uncomfortable night. On reporting the problem on checkout I felt I should have been offered something in way of compensation as the room was not fit for purpose .I emailed the hotel the next day as I had forgot to pay for a couple of mini bar items and I explained again about the air conditioning and could they pass on my disappointment to managements which they said they would but to date management have have not been in touch.. It pains me to write this review as it’s a lovely hotel and my past stays have been very good but I feel undervalued as a returning customer particularly for the cost of the hotel.
