The condo is the largest one bedroom configuration at the Island Resort at 850 square feet and also has an oversized balcony. There is a large, fully equipped kitchen as well as a King bed in the Master Suite with an en-suite master bath. There is also a half bath in the open living area, a queen size sleeper sofa, and a fireplace. This villa is a great place to relax and has easy access to all resort amenities. PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT ACCEPT LONG TERM RESERVATIONS. THANKS! Welcome to The Island On Lake Travis, an elegant condo complex that offers luxurious Lake Travis waterfront accommodations located on a 14-acre island. This gated resort offers condos for rent whether it be long or short term. A very unique aspect about our property is each condo is done to individual owners taste. The Island on Lake Travis is the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing romantic escape, and enjoy wildlife and breathtaking sunset views over the lake. There are plenty of local attractions to explore to keep you busy if you are looking for something fun and exciting to do. Take a day trip to Marble Falls or Fredericksburg, check out one of the 18 hole golf courses nearby, or enjoy a wine tasting at a Flat Creek Winery! When you rent from North Shore Vacation Rentals, you can expect top-notch customer service, and dedication to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. This was a last minute trip for us after losing power for a week after hurricane Beryl. We chose this place because the ratings were good, price was reasonable, and they allow pets. The condo was nice and updated. The grounds were well kept. Our only complaints were the few carts the complex have for people to use were nowhere to be found when we needed them. Unfortunately, I believe some people took carts and held onto them until they were ready to go. I highly recommend taking a wagon or a cart of some sort to make your life easier. Also, if you are planning to go downtown, it's quite a drive. If you are looking for a place to relax, lay around, read a book and hang out at the pool. This is the place. ##### Allison T. Rick fixed two kitchen cabinet doors because they fell off! Also cleaned and vacuumed both bathroom fan and vents. No hot water for one week. Towels were very thin, bathroom and kitchen filthy. Lipstick and food on doors, appliances, cabinets. Despite talking to management, we never had hot water for washing dishes or showers. Appliances were filthy and unit was a disorganized mess. There needs to be a curtain in bedroom as it is too bright to sleep given outdoor lights. Unit needs to be exterminated as ants are on balcony and in living room. ##### Rick G. The directions on how to get to the unit were clear and concise, and very simple to follow! The condo itself is just the right size for two people, and has a large balcony where we enjoyed breakfast each morning. The only frustration we had was trying to find the on-property restaurant. It would be fantastic if there were directions inside the unit on how to get there. Once we were there, the Sunday brunch was fantastic! Thank you! ##### Stephanie G. It had most everything you might need (with the possible exception of steak knives and a baking/cookie sheet). The AC quite working on our second day. The property manager made us aware of the situation and it was resolved the next day. Nice place! Would definitely recommend. ##### Brian K. After leaving and speaking with management I was told the owners were there the week before we got there and they chose to clean the unit themselves. In my opinion this should not be allowed. Especially now with COVID! I am very picky about where I stay and the cleaningness of the place I reserve. Overall, everything was very nice. All pools were closed during our stay and we were not made aware of this prior to our visit. However, we received a discount for this inconvenience. The property was exactly as listed and was in a beautiful setting! we were easily able to travel back and forth to different activities and enjoyed several relaxing moments on the patio. The location of the property was great. The view was wonderful! The unit was clean and well kept. It was supplied with all of the necessities that we needed.
