The Island on Lake Travis features a gated entry for security, reserved parking, beautiful Mediterranean architecture, and landscaped courtyards throughout the complex. As you enter the Villa, located on the third floor, you are greeted by a large family room complete with comfortable seating, tile floors, wet bar, fireplace, vaulted ceiling, and patio access with panoramic lake views. Other features include a large HDTV, WiFi, and plenty of space for entertaining. The kitchen is spacious, fully stocked, and has bar stool seating for 4\. The large alcove dining area has a beautiful round table, cathedral ceiling, and panoramic views of Lake Travis and the Texas Hill Country. This a great spot for family conversation and game time! The large master bedroom suite is amazing and has a tile floor, cathedral ceiling, king size bed, and a beautiful area rug in front of the cozy fireplace. All, of course, with panoramic lake views and patio access.There is also a large, en suite bath with jetted tub, walk-in shower, double vanity, and oversized closet. This master retreat has wall-to-wall windows facing Lake Travis, private patio access with open air seating, and is truly a great place to relax and unwind. Down the villa hallway you'll find a utility room with full size washer/dryer and wash basin, a second full bathroom with walk-in shower, and the additional two guest bedrooms. The second guest bedroom has a queen size bed and tile floors. The third bedroom has a two full size beds and tile floors. Finally, the large covered patio with expansive lake and hill country views is a desirable space to be enjoyed by all. There are deers outside of the gate. The respond from owner is very quick and helpful. We did have 1 small issue: one of the toilets was not working right off and on. The management said they would come up to fix the next morning but never did, so we just managed. It would be a perfect stay except for the last night. We had a very rough night because one of the neighbors apparently having party with very loud music (the kind with strong bass that almost shaking the floor) off and on from 12 midnight to almost 3am. ##### Jamie N. Condo itself was spacious, well furnished, & clean when we arrived. Small detail but the fact that the parking garage was covered with carts for luggage/elevators was a huge plus. The pools were nice & well maintained. Due to COVID-19, the onsite restaurant/billiards was closed but that is not the resort's fault. Only negative things I would say is that the master bedroom A/C unit was loud when it clicked on/off during the evenings & near dining options are limited.
