We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place Chicago Warrenville. The staff were excellent committed to customer satisfaction. The breakfast provided was very good including morning skillets and fresh fruit. The facility could use upgrades - lobby area and rooms. Our bathroom was not clean when we checked in but was rectified.

For our anniversary, our work schedules prohibited a few days away. This is how we usually celebrate. I needed to find some thing relatively close to our home as a surprise. I wanted something that could be practical and romantic. I have been in many types of hotels, one with Louis 14th furnishings, as well as one with a hot tub in the room. I checked on romantic hotels nearby and liked what I read about Arista. So I booked the room. It was a usual king bed type room.
When we arrived, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was more luxurious than we expected. it was modern and luxurious. The bathroom was over the top with frosted glass between the deep bathtub and the bedroom, and frosted glass doors and panels separating the commode and the shower from the vanity and bathtub. The vanity mirror had a TV screen in it. There were multiple dining locations and 24 hr room service. I would recommend it for longer stays. The rooms are very quiet. I really didn't hear any noise from the hall or the outside, including he thunderstorm that came through in the morning. We hadn't realized that it was storming until we opened the curtains.
I would also recommend it for the businessman as the room was tech friendly. I will stay there again happily.
The first challenge was finding the motel. Our navigation system brought us to the correct address, but the road was undergoing long term maintenance and was completely dug up. There was no sign providing alternative access. We ended up driving through a disused parking lot, following a mud track and driving over the curb to reach the motel. We spotted another family doing the same thing a little later.
As we registered, the hotel desk clerk told us that the standard queen room we had booked did not have the rollaway bed described on Expedia, and we would have to pay an additional $24 for a suite.
Once we had a room, it was clean and mostly comfortable. The pull-out sofa bed was not made up -- we had to ask for sheets and make it up ourselves. It was not comfortable.
Breakfast was acceptable, but there were limited choices of breads and jam.
Now we know how to find the motel we would consider staying there again, but not with more than two people.
We chose this facility because it was close to the venue we were visiting for a sports tournament. We arrived a couple of hours before check-in time, but the gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating and let us check in early. He was very friendly and personable. You could tell the hotel was probably older and slightly run down, but for what we needed that weekend, it suit our needs.
We stayed at the Sleep Inn while visiting a friend in Batavia, Illinois. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The room was not large but was certainly adequate for 3 adults. We really only needed to be there to sleep at night. In choosing a hotel for this weekend, it was important to me to find one that included breakfast. The breakfast served at the Sleep Inn was plentiful and included a nice variety. There was a Cracker Barrel restaurant within walking distance of the hotel which was convenient for us when we arrived Friday night. The only difficulty we had was finding the hotel. Although the entrance is on Diehl Rd., there were no signs at the entrance. We passed the entrance without knowing it and, after driving a few miles, turned around and backtracked until we saw the hotel sitting back off the road. Also, the room had an odor, sort of like fresh paint, when we walked in. Once we were in the room and ran the air conditioner, it was not noticeable. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. The room rate was one of the lowest in the area and the hotel was a great value.
