"Found this gem by researching the internet and online reviews beforehand. It did not disappoint! The comfortable rooms at the Michelangelo are outfitted with high quality, modern decor and furnishings, and are immaculately clean and well-lit. The bathroom with full bath and spa-like showerhead was also outfitted with fragrant, upscale beauty amenities and luxurious robes. It was indeed the perfect retreat to go "home" to each evening after trekking the entire city on foot for five full days. Highly recommend!"

"The staff was extraordinary. They spoke beautiful English when my Italian was still not very good. They were very helpful and helped us arrange transportation to Civitavecchia. Nice Italian breakfast. Our room was small but very nice and easy to get too and convient to the Via Aurelia gate where we didn't have to use the steps. All in all a great experience and we highly recommend for it's proximity to the Vatican, neighborhood, staff and charm."
