"Nice place to get away brought a TV with but got no reception but was able to access broadcasts on my phone free wi-fi! Cabin was very cozy and comfortable decor and furnishings were charming plenty of entertaining reading materials as well, Close to Bemidji and Walker and Leech Lake. Will probably return, forgot my dog harness (I have 2 spares no worries) and my Ibuprofen Randy & Shannon please use if and when needed."

Private, Exclusive Lodge on Woman Lake with Beautiful Views

"This is a beautiful home with fantastic waterfront on a clear, deep and quiet lake. We love to swim and the swim area at the end of the dock is nice hard sand, about 4 feet deep, with no weeds and crystal clear water. You do need to cross a band of rocks in the shallow water to get there. Most of us wore water shoes to cross over and then took them off and put them on the dock while swimming. It's also a pretty steep trail down to the water - not for anyone with mobility issues, but nicely done with flat stone steps much of the way. The lake view is really beautiful from the house and decks.We also enjoyed taking the kayaks out for paddles around Horseshoe Island, watching movies in the movie theater, playing video games on the arcade cabinet, making smores in the fire pit, playing outdoor ping pong, and playing board and card games both inside the lodge and outside on the extensive patios and decks. The kitchen has anything you could possibly need and the rooms and beds were comfortable. The bunk room beds are on the short side but a really fun room for kids. Nearest grocery is only 15 minutes away and definitely a full-service, big store even though the Longville is pretty small. Owner was responsive to questions and helped us. This is definitely a personal home rather than a commercial investment property so expect meticulous instructions and plan to take extra care of it. It's really lovely."
