"First time visiting Detroit Lakes. We were here for sports. We were able to check in an hour early because our room was done. Room was clean. No complaints at all. They have a restaurant you can eat at. They also have a bar. There were chairs out back by the beach area if you want to sit out by the lake. The pool is nothing spectacular but does include a hot tub and sauna. Very close to everything. They have rentals outback through GoGo rentals if you are interested in renting a boat, jet ski, e-bike and much more."
"Cutest little cabin. We were in town for a soccer tournament so we Loved the location, close enough to town yet far enough out for a peaceful setting. Enjoyed the Alpacas, they were the sweetest. We had some of our soccer girls stop by for a visit and they loved being able to pet and interact with the alpacas. Host was so easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay again when in the area."
"We have stayed at Dunvilla every summer for the past 4-5 years when we visit family with a nearby lake house. The hotel is always clean, the staff incredibly friendly and the overall atmosphere is relaxing and refreshing. It is a rural setting, just a few miles from Pelican Rapids and I look forward to our stay every year. A hot breakfast is included as part of the stay and they have an impressive casual dinner menu as well. I truly look forward to our visit each year. I highly recommend this hotel to anybody staying in this area. Even the boutique in a next door building is adorable and the nearby hardware store/restaurant is definitely worth a visit."
2 Bedroom with 2 minute walk to the sandy beach of Lake Melissa
10/10 Excellent
"This rental was exceptional. In every way it exceeded our expectations, particularly how easy it was to access the beach area. We’re looking forward to coming back."
