With generous decks, sea views, and relaxed open-plan living, this is a home designed for slow mornings, shared meals, and long beach days. The Space: Inside, the home feels bright and open, with sunlight pouring through wide windows that frame views across native bush and the blue water beyond. The living, dining, and kitchen areas flow naturally together, creating one flexible space for cooking, talking, and gathering after a day at the beach. Doors open onto large decks with plenty of seating, a BBQ, and room to unwind in the afternoon sun. The kitchen is fully equipped and set up for home cooking, with space for a few helpful hands. The lounge includes comfortable seating, a TV with DVD player, and games and books for quiet evenings in. The bedrooms are spread across two levels, keeping the layout easy and private for groups. Two of the bedrooms open directly to decks, offering a quiet spot for morning coffee or a sea breeze at the end of the day. Bed Configuration • Master Bedroom: King bed • Bedroom 2: King bed + King single • Bedroom 3: Queen bed + King single Bookings by request Guest Access: Guests have full access to the home and outdoor areas throughout their stay. Check-in is from 2:00pm and check-out is 10:30am. Early check-ins and late check-outs may be available for a small fee, but can only be confirmed closer to the day, depending on whether there are bookings before or after your stay. The Neighborhood: The Palms sits in the peaceful Palm Beach area, close to two of Waiheke’s favourite little bays, Sandy Bay and Enclosure Bay. Just a short drive away is Palm Beach itself, lined with calm water, a local store, and the much-loved Arcadia bar and café. You’re also positioned near several of Waiheke’s most celebrated wineries and restaurants, including Stonyridge, Te Motu, Miro/Casita Miro, Wild on Waiheke, Te Whau, Peacock Sky, Mudbrick, Cable Bay, and The Heke Brewery & Distillery. Oneroa Village is within 10 minutes, with cafés, boutique shops, takeaway spots, and essentials. The Saturday Ostend market and the local supermarket are also nearby. Getting Around: Regular buses run across the island and connect Palm Beach to Oneroa Village and the passenger ferry. Taxis and rideshare services are available but can be limited at peak times, so pre-booking is recommended. There is easy parking at the property. Other Things to Note: Minimum stays: 7 nights between mid-December and mid-January, 3 nights on holiday weekends, and 2 nights at all other times. This home operates on rainwater tanks, so conservative water use is appreciated.
