The home sleeps up to five guests across two bedrooms, both positioned to capture sea views and morning light. The lounge opens directly onto the north-facing deck, a sunny spot for meals, reading, or unwinding after a swim. The main bathroom is upstairs alongside the bedrooms and living areas. A second shower sits downstairs with the laundry facilities and is accessed via external stairs, useful after beach days or rinsing off sandy gear. The kitchen is practical and well set up for easy meals at home, though with cafés, takeaways, beach days, and local vineyards all close by, most guests find themselves drifting easily between the house and the shoreline. The bach offers an uncomplicated, comfortable base with a simple living, sea views, and an easy rhythm throughout the day. Bed Configuration Bedrooms: 2 Bedroom 1: 1 × king bed Bedroom 2: 1 × single bed + 1 × bunk bed Sleeps: 5 guests Guest Access: Guests have full access to the bach, deck, bedrooms, bathrooms, and garden areas. The property includes parking on site. Check-in is from 2:00pm, and check-out is 10:30am. Early or late check-ins may be available for a fee and does depend on back-to-back bookings. The Neighborhood: Beach Days sits on an elevated, north-facing site one block back from Onetangi Beach, an easy, sheltered swimming spot with long stretches of golden sand. Two seaside cafés are just a short walk away, including: Charlie Farley’s — relaxed beachfront breakfast, coffee, and casual meals. Beach Store Waiheke — simple counter food and takeaway coffee right by the sand. Onetangi is home to some of the island’s best dining. Within a few minutes of the bach you’ll find: Three Seven Two — modern coastal dishes just across from the beach. Ki Māha — refined beachfront dining with seasonal plates and ocean views. The bach is also close to the Onetangi “vineyard valley,” home to several well-known wineries: Tantalus Estate — polished vineyard restaurant and cellar door tastings. Stonyridge — iconic Waiheke vineyard known for long lunches among the vines. Obsidian — boutique winery with relaxed, outdoor tastings. Casita Miro — Mediterranean-style shared plates with sweeping valley outlooks. Whether you’re after beach time, casual meals, or long afternoons among the vines, everything sits within easy reach of Beach Days. Getting Around: Regular buses operate around Waiheke and connect Onetangi Beach with Oneroa, Palm Beach, and the Matiatia Ferry Terminal. Taxis are available on the island, though they can be expensive, so planning ahead is recommended. There is on-site parking at the property, and most places are within a short drive. Other Things to Note: The property is accessed via 30 stairs and is not suitable for guests with limited mobility. The second bathroom (shower + laundry) is accessed externally. TV plays DVDs only. Fabulous location, only steps away from Onetangi Beach. A pleasant, comfortable place to stay with beautiful views over the Bay. The kitchen facilities are fairly basic however and we couldn't access the laundry as the key had been broken off in the lock. It would benefit from an instruction booklet as we also couldn't get the TV/freeview to work or find a switch to turn outside sensor lights on - which would have made arriving in the dark a little easier.
