We stayed for the second time this year at the Langham. This was after a 6 week break overseas, a lovely way to ease back into life after a holiday. The pool and spa areas offer a delightful way to relax, even in winter. All the staff members very friendly and helpful, anticipating what one could need or want. Breakfast was delicious, the only small gripe I have is that the coffee is too weak and too expensive.
Without a doubt we will be back, hopefully before long.
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel DeBrett. The girls on the desk were lovely and really helpful. It was nice to be shown to our room and shown around and have things explained to us.
What a neat idea to offer us guests a drink in the drawing room - a good chance to chat with others who were staying. We would definitely stay again.
Also, thanks for the upgrade - it made our day :)

"Nice with excellent water views. Had to pay extra."
We are quite sensitive to cigarette smell. Our room must have been a smoking room before and smell still lingers. Some renovations in hotel in progress. Suggest that when guests check in, reception to be mindful of conditions like this. Staff service is highly commendable.
Luxurious complex, from the moment you walk into the Stamford you feel so valued by the friendly and hospitable staff. My husband an I stayed at Stamford for our 15th wedding anniversary and absolutely loved our time there. The facilities are explicit. loved the pool, spa and gym. the linen, bedding, robes etc are lush. We will definitely return again for sure. Thank you Stamford. beautiful!
we were in a prime location close to the night life, shopping and easy access to public transport. on arrival we were greeted at the front entrance by the night porter where he quickly took our luggage and showed us to the front desk.
the rooms were great, lovely décor and clean, felt like I could live there.
the food was also of high standard.
we were able to walk to the ferry terminal where we caught a ferry to Waiheke Island
On a peninsula overlooking scenic Waitemata Harbour, Auckland CBD is not only the country's major business centre, but plays host to a concentration of artistic and cultural venues in addition to nightlife precincts. In more recent years, much of the waterfront has been reclaimed for high-end residential apartments, trendy cafes and bars, marinas, and public recreational use.
