Lovely old building, loads of character, rooms in annex adjacent and comfortable . Staff are lovely and work really hard to make you at home. Hotel restaurant good, the lamb ribs to die for. Parking in Montreuil not easy but hotel has own small carpark on first come basis.

Definitely Recommended
Lovely hotel. Part 16th Century. The owner and all the staff were extremely friendly. Restaurant meals were excellent and we were spoilt for choice at breakfast time.

A comfortable and clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet offered is very nice with lots of choice. Access to walking the ramparts and the citadel is 1/2 block away - unfortunately the citadel was closed while we were visiting due to wind.

Thought the restaurant was great food superb,Breakfast was excellent service again good. Hotel was let down by the rooms which were clean and tidy but a bit tired and in need of refurb with plug points in short supply and the corridors leading to the rooms need redecorated. The showers were definitely not what should be expected from a 90 euro a night hotel and in general the bathrooms were not up to scratch. In summary rooms should be overhauled and modernised or prices should come down.

A delightful specious hotel in an historic property with interesting features, well renovated and modernised. Pleasant modern bedrooms with showers not baths. The restaurant, where Monsieur le Patron presides, has a good reputation locally with excellent food and not expensive wines but leisurely if willing service. Breakfast is amazing for €11: squeeze your own fresh oranges if you wish, boil your own eggs, choose from bacon and excellent scrambled eggs (not like the overcooked dried ones you get in UK hotels), cheeses, jams including marmalade. There is a machine for making a dozen types of excellent coffees. Delightful patio to the rear and good wifi reception throughout the complex. Some 45 miles drive from Calais.

Great location although unfortunately the old frontage and courtyard were under repair. Not a problem in terms of noise but it probably would have got a 5 star rating if everything were up and running normally, Very cheerful and helpful staff, good breakfasts, and the room was quite large. Probably could do with an overhaul of the room decor as well as they are showing their age a bit, but overall quite adequate and comfortable.

A gem
We came to France for a pre-Brexit short break while we could still take our dog with relative ease. Hoping to enjoy some great French cuisine without breaking the bank. This is a fine Logis hotel. Excellent restaurant, comfortable rooms, pet friendly, warm and helpful staff and very reasonable prices. France at its best.

What a great find!
We so lucked out with this beautiful hotel. We were travelling back from Honfleur and stopped off for the Sunday night. The bar with the log fire, the friendly staff who can't do enough for you and the restaurant was out of this world! The food for the set meal was definately 5 star quality - we are still reliving the desserts as so outstanding. Another big plus is it is so dog friendly. We will be back & will recommend to all our friends & family

We have stayed here before and find it very convenient and comfortable. Nice courtyard to sit in the sun. Some of the inside of the hotel is looking a bit shabby, e.g. the games room but, on the whole very good. We would stay here again

Wish it had been longer...
Fabulous little hotel, in a great location. Rooms were large and simply furnished, the bed was comfy. The bathroom was quit big, but the shower over the bath was not so good in that you could feel the bath moving under your feet, it was quite unsteady. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We had left the lights on our car and it was no trouble for them to help out with a jump start. We sat in the beautiful sun-trap of a courtyard and had a late lunch when we arrived, comprising mixed meat and cheese platters, with wine and beer. It was extremely reasonable in price and a nice snack before dinner in the evening, which incidentally was at the adjoining restaurant...we would without doubt, recommend eating there, it was fantastic. Breakfast the following morning was fresh and plentiful, with lovely breads, croissants, yoghurts, cakes, eggs etc.. All in all a great stay, next time it will be for a longer period of time!

The staff were fine. The double room I booked was OK. The single wasn't: the fittings were tired and old, there was a cloth over the plug-hole in the bathroom and a bad smell emanating from the hole, and the single room cost as much as the double, though significantly smaller.

This is a faded glory hotel. Starting in the 15thc. Room was adequate. Shower a bit dicey for me getting in and out as nothing to hold onto. However we will stay again.Charming ! It has a lovely bar and good restaurant, where we enjoyed the food. Wine good and reasonable. One did not feel they were exploitative with the prices. Parking down the bak road a few yards away but OK. In the middle of a quaint shopping area.
