Terrible place. No toilet paper on my room. No extra blankets available. My smoke detector is missing. A hooded man waljed padt my room and car twice, kept trying to get in a roo. Across the parking lot, fro t desk says that room is not rented. I gad to request they call the police to check on hom.
TV didn't work, maintenance ne er showed up, got a new room but sink faucet didn't work, no hot water, had to use tub faucet.

They only gave us 2 wash cloths and 2 towels for a weekend stay. My reservation showed that I would have 3 kids with me. When I went to see could I get more, the front desk lady said that they had run out ! Housekeeping never came so I basically had to keep going to get tissue. The tv would cut off every time the microwave was turned on. The water had to run for at least 10 minutes to get hot. But it was a quiet and peaceful stay.

The Motel 6 in Opelika was a good value for the money. We especially appreciated their pet-friendliness, which extended to the fact that there was no extra charge for our two Scotties. We were initially assigned a room right next to a room that also had two dogs in it, and there was barking back and forth, so we asked the front desk to be reassigned, which they did quickly and courteously. Would recommend.

Our non-smoking room smelled like a cigar. I killed 2 roaches soon as I walked in, there were multiple dead bugs around the room. The curtains looked like there was vomit on them, the chair was destroyed and looked like it came from a dumpster. The phone was covered in dust, the radio looked like another dumpster find. We turned right around and left. This is easily the WORST motel I’ve ever stepped foot into. This place is disgusting, avoid at all cost!

Paid over $500 for 2 nights, granted it was Iron bowl weekend and that's what ridiculous. Pay that much for a POS that isn't worth 50 buck. Dirty, broken everything and no basic amenities. Disgusting and we're not 5 star type folks, we're perfectly happy in a true 3 star.

The rooms have nothing but a bed and tv. No hot water. No microwave no refrigerator. Staff will give extra pillows. If you want extra towels, not getting them. Not a place for family.

No hot water or electricity at sink counter. Faucet loose and leaked at base. NEw paint and floor but edges had NOT been cleaned/repaired. Frig buzzed every 10 seconds but wasn't cold . Furniture old, used, and obviously 3rd hand. KEEP WORKING ON THIS PROPERTY!!!!

The first room we were given wasn’t clean - it had trash on the floor, the bed was unmade and the was old food on the desk. The second room had no soap, no hot water and the bed was sagging severely enough to be called broken.

The room was disgusting. The microwave did not work, the sink was leaking, the bed was absolutely terrible the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on. It was absolutely insane for the price we had to pay. Totally disgusted do not stay in this hotel
This property is lipstick on a pig. Nice new paint job outside, BUT the rooms are dirty, and the bed sheets aren't clean, thread bear, holes, stains, and downright disgusting. No hot water, barely warm even after several minutes of running the water. Tissue paper is so thin it breaks apart on touch. Absolutely overpriced for this filthiness.

Roaches, broken furniture, moldy, food everywhere, no working lights in bathroom, splatters that looked suspiciously like blood on a broken dresser, feces on bathroom wall, and strong smell of natural gas leak outside room. Sketchy men all around late at night. Scary. Disgusting. A health and safety hazard.
DO NOT STAY!!!! It was a Auburn game weekend so rates were high everywhere so we picked this place. Roaches, brown water with different material in it, hair all over the bathroom and tub, and hair on the beds. Absolutely disgusting. I told them they should be pure ashamed. I wouldn’t even pay 20 bucks to stay here. Just awful. Nothing good about this place l. The beds were really hard too but that was the least of the problems.
Quite possibly the worst hotel on the planet. Checked in with my wife and kids after an Auburn game. Room smelled like Snoop Dog just had an album release there. No toilet paper for my kid that had been sitting on a deuce for the last few hours. Room had not been cleaned. Bars of used soap in the middle of shower. Requested a different room, which was granted. New room had toilet paper, and a colony of prehistoric roaches that were ready for war. Packed our stuff and drove home in the middle of the night. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

The non-smoking room reeked of smoke. The soap looked like someone cleaned their needle off in it. There were very questionable stains on the bed. The cleanliness was so awful we ended up not staying. We wasted our money, please don’t make the same mistake.
Where do I begin?:
We usually stay in Motel 6 when traveling with pets, but the maintenance on this one was abysmal!
1. Water from the air conditioner leaked all over the floor.
2. The air conditoner barely cooled.
3. The faucet on the bathroom sink was broken and spewed water everywhere.
4. The handle on the microwave was broken.
5. The mattress must have been decades old as it sloped BADLY on one side.
6. The plugs were all loose and hanging out of the wall.
7. The towels had stains all over them.
8. The toilet seat was completely unhinged on one side and loose on the other.
9. Bathroom sink had no hot water.
10. The cable guide on the TV was one of the most confusing I've ever seen.
11. The clothing shelf with hangers was coming out of the wall and the rust that fell down was everywhere and hadn't been cleaned in a long while.
So, while renovations looked fairly new, the maintenance aspects had been completely neglected.

Bed sheets were dirty. I was glad I brought my own. Mattress had various big stains all over it. Toilet seat was broken. Bathroom was not clean. Shower did provide any hot water at night, but did in the morning. Not worth the $200 I spent to stay there even if Auburn had a home game. I will definitely not stay there again.
New motel 6. Only positive is they cleaned room where most hotels don’t during stay. Needs serious updates. Old and not well maintained. Stains on furniture and in bath. Large scratches on floor…
Bugs in the room. Dirt on the floor and on the walls. Bathroom door wouldn’t even close because the hinges are coming out of the wall. Do not recommend for anyone.
