My ONE night at this Hotel

Posted 12-Sep-2016
Pros: the pillows
Cons: EVERYTHING
Location: Not much to do
Normally I don't stay at these hotels but there were literally NO reasonably priced rooms at any of the hotels I stay at so I chose this one as any of those MOTELS were not an option. I didn't feel comfortable in this place at all. I was literally itching from the time I walked in. I sprayed everything down with LYSOL. The beds were not comfortable. The room smelled like a mixture of smoke and whatever else you can think of. Thank GOD it was only for ONE NIGHT. The tub mat was missing; as evidenced by the strips left in the tub where the mat USED to be. Everything just looked old and outdated. There was stuff on the walls where apparently someone had SPIT!! I didn't even wait for the 12pm check out, that's how fast I wanted to get out of there. I will not be staying there again. The best thing about this room was the pillows and the flat screen TV.

American horror story - hotel.

Posted 05-Sep-2016 on Hotels
The hotel is outdated. Upon entrance you can tell it's very outdated. The toilet required three flushes which followed with a leak into the floor. The sink was rusty. The ceiling tiles looked like they were going to cave in and had wet marks on them. The coffee maker which was kept in the bathroom was disgusting. The nonslip stripes in the tub were peeling and kept poking my feet. The room had a musty smell, the sheets appeared clean. There was also a bug in our room but from the marks on the walls it appears they are common there. AC filter was filthy.

This past Labor day weekend

Posted 04-Sep-2016
Pros: It is fairly new and clean with a decent pool and good continental breakfast included. We love the very convenient location of this hotel.
Cons: The hotel is fairly new, but we saw a few things that needed some repair. We hope that that it does not become run down over time.
Location: It is in a great location easy on to G SParkway. Very near to Atlantic City. Many stores and restaurants nearby.
The hotel staff is very nice a polite. It is in a very good and convenient location. It's on a major road that has many restaurants and stores to choose from. The hotel also provided a shuttle to Atlantic city for $20 with an option for two casinos with a $20 credit to play. We've stayed here in the past and liked the location. That is why we returned.

HoJo hotel not what it used to be!!

Posted 31-Aug-2016 on Hotels
Our stay was very disappointing. This hotel also rents rooms on a long term i.e. otherwise homeless, vagrants. They'd ask for money, food, cocktails, whatever you had. Also, I had a manager come into our room while I was alone using the bathroom!!! I asked him to leave & he continued telling me that the room was nonsmoking which I reserved!!!

right off highway, close to atlantic city BUT...

Posted 27-Aug-2016
Pros: parking
Cons: everything about the rooms
Location: good location, questionable safety, close to atlantic city (15-20mins drive) - food nearby
the inside of the rooms are quite dated and in need of a renovation. the rooms were musky, making everything damp and it was gross. The shower was not good and our family just felt very dirty and worried about bed bugs. there were lots of parking though. breakfast was very limited. only thing nice about this hotel was the lobby. staff was OK but will not be staying here again.

They rent to vagrants who ask guests for $, cigarettes, rides, etc. They stalk the pool.
