Pros: Coffee in the lobby was decent.
Cons: Put in a complaint about the person next door being loud, cursing and arguing with someone outside of our door, nobody came to talk to the person.
This is a 2** Motel, the non smoking rooms are right next to the smoking rooms. The rooms stunk of smoke. The Night Manager was less than accommodating thankfully he had a competent staff member who was friendly and gave us a different room away from the drunk and disorderly clients.

Comfortable and quiet

Location: The Stone Mountain area is very beautiful; the park & several restaurants are nearby. We ate at the Metro Cafe Diner nearby--good variety.
The bed was comfortable, and the place was clean and impressively quiet on a Sunday night. The biscuits, sausage, and eggs were warm. The coffee machine in the breakfast area ran out of the bold mixture; therefore, my coffee was weak and lacking in taste. If I had not been in a hurry, perhaps I would have made coffee in my room. The front desk staff were helpful. My experience here was very good, and the cost was very reasonable.

Customer Service needs work

I called the front desk at least 4 times between 9pm-10:15pm and no one ever answered the phone. I did not have TV service nor did the clock radio work which I needed as an alarm. When I checked out the next morning I nicely told the person at the desk and he did not even respond except to say here is your receipt and we'll check on the problems. Very poor customer service not to mention 2 common features of a room were not working. On a positive note, the bed was very comfortable.

Not reedy for prime time.

This particular property is relatively new, but is badly in need of staff training. I'm guessing that there's minimal or absentee management. We arriedd in the evening and, while the rooms were ready and the reservations were organized, there were a number of glitches in the check in process -- I was asked to come back later to sign forms. We went out and when I returned, there was still a delay. Breakfast was ready on time, but then sparsely refilled. We checked out just as the next shift was arriving, and that group was much better organized, so possibly there had been someone missing the previous evening. Nonetheless, the impression was of a substandard operation.

Nice hotel, pool and breakfast.

The hotel was fine, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was very good. The room had a stale smoke odor, but once we were in the room for a while we didn't notice it, however our clothes do have a stale smoke smell to them now that we've left the hotel. The pool was very nice. We would stay there again if we were in the area.

Good But BAD

Pros: The staff was nice
Location: it's in walking distance of a lot amenities, restaurants, and more
To be honest, The hotel was good for the price. The staff was very friendly, and the facility was ok. But the issue I had was that during my two night stay,Me and my wife woke up the first night with bites on our bodies. We didn't want to jump to conclusions because we thought maybe we got bit outside the room. so the next night we woke up with even more bites. at this point we were convinced we were getting bit by something in the bed. We voiced our concern to the hotel manager but he was unable to rectify the situation due to the owners of the hotel not being around to make a decision. I was unhappy that I had to sleep uncomfortably every night and still be changed full price for my stay. I understand as a business owner about certain situations but this should have been resolved.
