Checked in very tired at 2:30 am after a long road trip. My family and I went to our room after check in, and I started to do a bed bug inspection before we put our luggage in the room, or sat anywhere in the room. After checking the beds for just a minute, I found bed bugs. I work for a pest control company back home, and part of my job is doing these type of inspections. I contacted the front desk, and told them about the problem. The front desk clerk apologized and gave us a different room. We then went to that room and I did another inspection. We found bed bugs again, now we were tired and pretty upset. The clerk then cancelled our stay, because we told her we were not staying there. Hotels.com refunded our money immediately. This hotel has major bed bug problems, I can't imagine how many other rooms there are infested.
