Rest assured, the space is professionally cleaned, cozy, and guest-ready! The space Spacious 8-Bedroom Duplex in the Heart of Historic Oakland City A Home Designed for Connection Originally built in 1920 and later converted into a duplex, this home offers a total of 8 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and 10 beds—giving your group plenty of space to spread out and come together. You'll be booking both sides of the duplex: Unit A includes 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, while Unit B features 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each side has its own fully equipped kitchen, perfect for cooking meals, relaxing, and sharing time around the table. Please note: the two units are not connected from the inside, so guests will need to access each side through separate entrances. Absolutely no speakers are allowed to be used on the outside of the home at anytime. You will be charged $1,000 for disturbing the neighborhood. Driveway can comfortably fit 1 car. There is ample street parking available as it is allowed and free. This home is for a maximum of 20 guests. Only guests that are on the reservation are allowed in the house unless prior approval was given by the host. Extra guests who are not on the reservation are an additional $100/each if they are not accounted for in your reservation. There are security cameras on the exterior of the home for extra security. Please remember that this is VRBO and not a hotel, please be respectful of the property, be conscientious of wasting energy, not taking home any towels, and turn off all the lights in the house and keep the space clean before you leave. There is street parking directly in front of the home for 6 cars and more down the street. There are two Marta transit stations within walking distance. You may find rental motorized scooters or bikes in the area Other things to note This property is a duplex. While your booking includes both Unit A and Unit B, the two units are not connected indoors. Each has its own private entrance, kitchen, living room, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Guests can gather in the shared outdoor areas — the front porch, fenced backyard, and deck — but still enjoy the privacy of two separate homes. Maximum of 20 guests. Only registered guests are allowed unless approved in advance. The neighborhood does not look safe at all! There are homeless people hanging around here everywhere! The photos do not even compare to what it is like in person! There is an extremely strong mildew smell throughout the property, and the furniture is extremely outdated and dirty. The bedding and linens on each bed were worn, old and dirty. The carpets had stains all over it! We didn't even stay there 30 mins after seeing the property in person and Denise the owner, was very rude when we were voicing our concerns, so we just left and found another property. She even refused to give us a refund and wanted to say that it was cancellation!! The kicker about this whole rental is that it is a duplex, and not the house that it is made to look like on this site! Again, renters beware! ##### Damon A.
