Lovely View, Good Location

Cons: Pool, Air conditioning in April
Location: Explore Athens and Lykavittos hill which is outside of the Hotel
April visit to Greece great time to go. Hotel was good and my overall rating would have been higher if the pool was open and the air-conditioning switched on. We had great weather above average for April and found the hotel room very hot as we did not want a draft from the window while asleep and the hotel does not turn the air-conditioning on yet. It is probably standard practice to have the pool closed at this time of year though I would have swam. It was a week stay and later in the week the room became more comfortable. The staff were lovely and breakfast has a great view though not worth the price for more than one day if you do not have it included with your room deal. I will probably try a different Hotel on my next visit.

Hotel on a hill.

Pros: The view and the restaurant.
Cons: The beds (rubber mattress cover was very uncomfortable) and the A/C.
Location: It's in the old part of the city on a hill. There are many shops, cafes and restaurants in the area.
Hotel had great views. Rooms were a little small and the beds not Marriott standard but okay. The A/C didn't work so we slept with the balcony door open. Good thing it was only April.

Globalement bon hotel mais pas un vrai 5 étoiles

Pros: Proximité des lieux d'intérêt. Le calme. Le serviceet le personnel.
Cons: Confort de la literie. Température des chambres. Offrir au moins une bouteille d'eau et ne pas proposer de boir l'eau de robinet!
Location: Quartier residential chic, calme et à une distance de marche (15 à 20mn) des lieux d'intérêt.
Globalement un bon hôtel. Situé dans un quartier résidentiel, calme et non loin de tous les beaux endroits à visiter à Athènes. Vous pouvez marcher vers les zones commerçantes, le Centre historique de Plaka et de l'Acropole. L'hôtel est situé sur la célèbre colline de Lycabettus, où vous pouvez en quelques minutes rejoindre le Funiculaire pour aller admirer tout Athènes. Vous pouvez facilement marcher à tous ces lieux à pied, mais vous avez besoin de revenir en taxi ou en métro car la colline est difficile à remonter! L’hôtel est un peu vieux, mais propre. Les chambres sont correctes, et le service est très bon à tous les niveaux. La chambre était cependant trop chauffée sans possibilité de contrôler la température, au point que nous avons été obligés de garder la fenêtre ouverte la plupart du temps. Nous avions une chambre du côté de la cour centrale, calme, comme la zone, mais pendant la journée, il y avait des travaux de construction avec du bruit de temps en temps... Le petit déjeuner est cher (22 € / pax) mais bon. A mon avis, l'hôtel n’est pas aux normes d’un vrai 5 étoiles.

Very dated hotel in dire need of renovation.

Great views... Rooms very dated, booked entry level with expedia which i would have graded a 3*. Was there in winter with ubseasonable warm days... No ac, only central heating. Overall bad experience.

Good location, but good 3 stars.

Perfect location. Breakfast was not included to our stay, can't say anything about it. We had dinner at the restorant on top of the hotel it was really disappointing. Restoran has a nice view, this is the only reason to stop by.

- Ein größerer Geldbetrag ist aus meinem geschlossenen Safe in meinem Zimmer entwendet worden. Ich habe eine Strafanzeige bei der Polizei erstattet. - Die Hoteldirektion berief sich darauf, dass sie keinen Einbruch in meinem Zimmer nachweisen können, und verwies mich auf die Hotel Policy, wonach das Hotel sich nur dann für den Verlust eines Wertgegenstands oder von Geld verantwortlich fühlt, wenn dieser Wertgegenstand oder das Geld zuvor bei der Hoteldirektion für zentrale Aufbewahrung abgegeben wurde. - Ich weiß zwar, dass ich unmöglich die Entwendung meines Geldes nachweisen kann, aber empfinde diese "formalistische" Handhabung meines Problems und die implizite Zweifel seitens des Hotels an der Richtigkeit meiner Aussage/Klage gerade und insbesondere bei einem 5 Sterne Hotel als sehr enttäuschend.

Nice location - very dated bedroom interior.

We had a lovely stay in Athens, hotel staff we friendly and helpful. Breakfast vastly overpriced. Our room was dated, drab and dirty under the bed. We did a secret rooms deal and guess that because we paid a cheaper rate we got 'second class' room ! Overall though a pleasant hotel.

NO AC IN THE WINTER

We stayed only for a night. Athens can be pretty hot during the winter, although the AC was turned off and the roon was burning. Not a 5 star for sure

Not a 4+ Star Hotel

Staff was inattentive - not especially helpful on check-in or check-out. Wifi signal was incredibly weak, so it was difficult to maintain a consistent connection. Room was passable, but certainly not nice - furnishings were very dated (15+ years old), and the facilities are in need of a renovation. Reasonably low price, but in t's current state, not a place I would likely stay again.
