The main archaeological sites will literally be on your feet. You can move everywhere by foot while the Acropolis metro station is just 10’ away. Ma Maison Acropolis Mansion Suite N° 7 is a unique suite with a private roof garden located in Mets, right in the heart of Athens. This is the right place if you want to discover the city. It is one of the most classy and sophisticated neighborhoods in Athens (often called as "Montmartre of Athens") with a lot of shops (supermarkets, bakeries, coffee shops, fruit markets, traditional Greek restaurants, pharmacies, etc.). The suite is situated in a fully renovated grand neoclassical house with high ceilings. The 1290 sq. ft(120m²) first floor has one living room, one dining room, one kitchen, one big hallway, three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is an extra bedroom(the fourth) of 270 sq. ft(25m²) located on the roof garden, which has an ensuite bathroom that is separate from the first floor suite. Just in front of the house there is an archaeological site, the temple of Artemis Agrotera. It has balconies back and forth and big openings with fantastic unobstructed views of Acropolis, Temple of Zeus, National Garden, Zappeion, Filopappou and Lycabettus Hills from the interior of the suite. Another unique feature is the private roof garden that can be accessed through an external staircase and offers the best views in Athens. You can come very easily from the airport through Metro network. There is also a link through the Metro network from the port of Piraeus. Acropolis metro station is 500 meters away. I didn't realize the 4th bedroom required you to go outside and up a metal, spiral staircase, but it was still very nice. My favorite part of our stay was hanging out on the rooftop taking in the views. We really enjoyed the complementary bottle of wine on the roof our first night. There was a lot of attention on the details. The communication was excellent as well. Overall a great stay. ##### Amy G. We were a quick 20 minute walk to central Athens and all were t has to offer. The roof terrace was breathtaking. The pictures do not do it justice. Near neighborhood shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Both hosts Yannis and Tolis were helpful with everything and we used their excellent van service for transportation and a day trip out of Athens to a wonderful beach and Greek temple. ##### Gregory m. Ma maison was comfy, clean and spacious. The location was easy walking distance to our Acropolis tour, Plaka shopping, the National Garden, and Panathinaiko Stadium. The apartment was clean and well furnished. It was a short walk to many key attractions and great restaurants. The hosts were very helpful transportation, including a trip to Gold Beach (highly recommended!). Be careful with the dryer though - it gets a little too hot! ##### Jeff C. The place and views were outstanding. Loved the rooftop deck! Everything we needed was provided, even toothbrushes. The reservation and checkin processes were easy and professional. Great neighborhood and very close to Acropolis and shopping district. National Garden across the street 10 minute walk) so peaceful stroll. Apartment is very tastefully decorated and the patio on top floor is amazing. Great place to relax and watch sunset over the Acropolis. Highly recommend staying here. Yannis is great! The view of the Acropolis was actually more spectacular than shown in the online photos. The neighborhood was quiet and within walking distance of the Acropolis and Plaka. We arranged our transportation with our host both from the airport and to the port of Piraeus. Overall, a lovely experience – highly recommend. ##### Kathleen J. The one thing that surprised us was the fourth bedroom was only accessible through the kitchen and up a set of stairs. This is where the patio was and the fourth bedroom. Not only was the weather great, this apartment was perfectly situated for what we needed. The roof terrace was incredible and had amazing views of The Acropolis, The Parthenon and The Parliament building. It was also 5 minutes walk from the Panathenaic Stadium and National Gardens. The apartment gave us everything we needed and even our private chef had everything he needed to cater for us! Yannis was an excellent host and would highly recommend this apartment if you’re looking to stay in Athens. I would also recommend you book their private transfer to and from the airport, although it was extra it really made a huge difference and meant we didn’t need to navigate public transport when we first arrived. ##### Stewart E. The roof view and bedroom is worth the price alone. The location of the property was perfect for access to all of the must see locations and the apartment was well kept and clean upon arrival. The hosts took care of our airport transport, relieving us of the hassle of navigating our way to and from the apartment with many large bags. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance, which was very helpful with our small child. I think we spent more time on the huge, private rooftop terrace looking at the Parthenon than inside the beautiful home. Excellent host to deal with even arranged transportation in private brand new van. One small issue with Wi-Fi coverage on the terrace, but the owner said they would take care of that. The penthouse is gorgeous and location with perfect view of Acropolis and Zeus temple. Around the corner and down some ‘European’ steps is two markets, two breakfast/brunch places, and a very cool bar. Uber friendly for pickup and return. Brush up on operating European appliances… lol. Location is about 0.8 miles to the Plaka a location of local shops and great restaurants. I highly recommend Daphne’s for a great fine dining experience, located at the Plaka. The penthouse rooftop is gorgeous it was unfortunately too cool for us to enjoy it properly. I highly recommend this property for your Athens holiday. ##### Lisa F. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property. Ideally located - short walk to all the major sites but not in the midst of the touristy area so it was a peaceful oasis at the end of the day. The apartment is beautiful - clean, well appointed and the view from the rooftop deck is even better in person than the pictures. Yannis went above and beyond to make our stay so wonderful with exceptional communication and arranged for driver to and from the airport. He was fantastic- safe driver, on time and it was such a great way to start our trip to be greeted at the airport with smiling and friendly face. Made it all seamless and stress free.
