We really enjoyed our stay at The Margi and would look to stay again when returning to Greece. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. Pool was clean and pool bar was perfect (wide range of juices and cocktails) and freshly made food available. There were always available sun beds around the pool. We tried the restaurant several times and found it to be high quality and very good value. Breakfast was super - wide range of hot and cold choices. Rooms were well maintained and modern. Balconies were large and had a small comfortable sofa and table for sitting outside in the evening.
There seemed little to do in the immediate area - a couple of nice local restaurants within a 10 minute walk and of course, the coastal views (which are gorgeous) but the hotel was so perfect this did not give us a problem and besides which we wanted to relax. This fantastic hotel certainly met the brief!
Good hotel near beach & shopping area with nice staff good breakfast ... But
Air condition in the room was not good with a very loud voice
No free wifi
No electric plugs in the bathroom also beside the bed
Lovely hotel. Staff were great (with the notable exception of one poor and surly waiter in the So Oriental restaurant).
The hotel is not very close to a village or town so you either need to be prepared to stay on the resort almost exclusively or hire a car to explore the surrounding area.

My wife and I were in for a wedding of two close friends and found this gem a few months prior. We upgraded the room with the understanding that they were a bit small. Overall the landscape, hotel and views looked like something out of a storybook. However, the hotel is showing some age with minor carpet stains and wrinkles, exterior light fixtures out in multiple areas and a few other minor items that one would expect for the price are being maintained. No complaints about the food or service. Everyone was great and bent over backwards.

Good situation a short distance from the various beaches and lake, and bars and restaurants. Good large room with a great view and very large balcony. Comfortable and very clean even if some fittings a little shabby. Excellent pool area. Terrific breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. A really enjoyable stay.
A bit of a trek to get into Athens - 30 mins on bus to the end of the metro line, then 20 mins into Syntagma. To get to Vouliagmeni from airport take the X96 bus until it hits the seafront and then get a taxi.
Convenient for both beach and close to tram stop for regular connection to central Athens. Room was clean with good facilities. Private balcony with mountain/sea view. Staff very willing to help with any problems and those on reception spoke good English. Wide choice available with regard to breakfast buffet. Rooftop pool and bar restaurant also available.
Rooms are an average size and clean. Although the walls are particularly thin and we could hear our neighbours having a very good time! Staff are friendly and helpful. Pool area is nice-was very quiet most of the time. Athens itself is not very far but the hotel is an ideal location to relax.
Although best known for its historical and archaeological sites, Athens is also blessed with lovely beaches on the Aegean Sea. Travelers can experience majestic views of the water and still remain within convenient reach of the famous historical sites of Athens, such as the Acropolis and the Parthenon. The historic port city of Piraeus is also nearby.
