Staying at Eastwell Manor gave us the most wonderful experience. The gardens are lovely and we enjoyed all the outdoor games on offer and the outdoor pool. The indoor pool and spa are superb too. We did not need to go out anywhere. We loved the beautiful dining room and excellent breakfast. It made for a very relaxing and special time.

Shower leaked all night complained and just smiled and said SORRY !! Ceiling and above floor boards creaked , and I know it's not the hotels fault that the people above were up at 6.00 and walked around till 8.00 floors need refurbishing certainly wouldn't pay full price ok if cheap deals
Good location, comfortable bed/pillows & good size room, good shower & big fluffy towels. Lovely breakfast & evening meal. Nice little touches like biscuits & fresh milk for tea & coffee, friendly staff.
Perfect location for the event , quite expensive but the location was vital- so we had no choice.
Unfortunately there was a slamming door just outside our room- late night and early morning annoying.
If I knew I could ask to not be near a corridor spammy door!!
The staff were lovely I'm sure they would have done their upmost to help.
We stayed the night in Ashford in order to catch an early train to Brussels the next morning, so in preparing our trip I looked for lodgings near the station. Cornerstone is right in the central pedestrian area about 500m from the station, tucked away down a small accessway. We used the backdoor on arrival as that is where the SatNav led us to. Turned out we had to get a taxi in the morning because of the rain. 8 pounds taxi fare, including any booking / call out fee.
The room was small, hardly deserving to be called double, which always seems to be the case with this price range in UK. But it was probably the smallest we encountered on our trip.
Generally I thought it too costly for the accommodation level offered.
It was clean and tidy. The double bed was hard against our en suite wall and there was some small furniture. Not much room to move about.
No windows, only a roof skylight. I don't know what ventilation it had, but it did not get stuffy.
Landlady very pleasant and helpful. She prepared a breakfast tray for us as we left before the normal breakfast time, and booked the taxi.
Some strange plumbing in the en suite, but everything worked properly, and no odour problems.
"Location good near ashford town centre for a shop"
Tv and telephone weren't working on the sunday morning. Hotel reception were unaware of the problem. Otherwise nice ckean and comfirtable room. Ideal for fhe reason booked as an overnight stay after a wedding nearby.
Really enjoyed our stay, food was amazing and staff were very helpful.
Only small issues like no fridge in the room and it was also a very hot night when we stayed and as there is no air con or a fan of any description so it was a little hard to sleep in the heat, at £160 a night i guess i expected slightly more facilities in the room.
The breakfast in the morning was also first class and service was excellent.
I just think the price is a little high considering the lack of facilities on site.
Overall a pleasant stay for our anniversary.
"Quiet countryside guesthouse with beautiful rooms"
We were delighted when we arrived at Elvey Farm. The countryside location is beautiful, tranquil and quiet and we received a warm reception. The rooms are tastefully decorated with everything you need for a comfortable stay. My friend and I tried their Italian restaurant in the evening and the food was delicious. Most of the staff were friendly and attentive, although at breakfast we were left for significant periods of time and the waiter seemed to be slow to take the cooked breakfast orders and not as personable in his approach as the other staff. Never-the-less, this didn't spoil our enjoyment of the food which was worth waiting for and we would definitely stay there again, probably for a week next time as there's plenty to do in the area and it was such a lovely place.
Lying in the heart of Kent, Ashford is a growing, rural town approximately 90 km southeast of England's bustling capital. Shopping lovers can marvel at the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet with its huge range of high-end stores. For a relaxing break, Godington House is a beautiful country estate and the perfect location to while away the time with a cream tea and a stroll through the gardens.
