The place was a bit musty upon arrival, but after the air conditioning kicked in and the outside temp dropped it got much better. It’s perfect for dog and parents because it has a nice yard right off the patio that allows them to run around and do their “business”. The host was very responsive to a lighting concern we had. It was very close to downtown AVL. The driveway was a little problematic when we arrived - it was raining and getting dark. The kitchenette was adequate, since we ate all of our meals out or carried in. There was plenty of room for the two of us. I enjoyed sitting on the porch in the late afternoon to read. Oh and don’t panic if you don’t get check out instructions, because there’s nothing to do! Her exact words were “ Nope, you don’t have to do anything, I’ll take care of it all.
