All on the Ground Floor: Open plan living space. Living area: 55" Freeview Smart TV, Bi-Fold Doors Leading To Garden Dining area. Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Induction Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher Utility Room: Washing Machine Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed, Smart TV Ensuite: Walk-In Shower, Toilet Bedroom 2: Zip And Link Kingsize Bed (2 x Singles On Request) Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over With Shower Attachment, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Enclosed, lawned back garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Hawthorn cottage is a two bedroom bungalow, in a small village, close to the market town of Ashbourne. It is superbly situated, being on the edge of both the Peak District National Park and the Staffordshire Moorlands and provides many opportunities for walking and cycling. If you are a fan of water sports then you must take advantage of the properties close proximity to Carsington Water – also great for a steady 8 mile walk or cycle all the way around. There are many other trails and walks within easy reach of the property, including the Centenary Way. If you are a thrill seeker then this property is located a short 25 minute drive to Alton Towers theme park which makes for a great day out for all. The village of Brailsford has a shop/post-office, cafés, pub and a golf club. This recently built and newly furnished property is placed on an attractive, landscaped housing development and has parking for two cars. Upon arrival you walk into the spacious modern living space which has a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table with four chairs and an open plan sitting room with 55 inch wall mounted Smart TV and comfy seating. Open the bifold doors to bring the outdoors in, this property has a great size lawned garden with a bike store available. Within the bungalow there is a utility room with washing machine, family bathroom with shower over shower over and two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed, Smart TV and an en-suite with walk-in rainfall shower and digital controls, the second bedroom has a king-size zip and link bed, this can be made up into a twin room if requested. Pub and restaurant ¾ mile. Second time staying here. It's a great location for what we needed, close to the Peak District, Alton Towers, lots of other attractions. The bungalow is very well equipped and the instructions are clear making it easy to use the appliances. The only criticism is the shower head in the ensuite probably needs descaling/cleaning and we could have done with a couple more hand towels, so there was one each.
