Since we stayed here in 2022, the rooms have been renovated - they are smaller (rollaway no longer fits in King Suite bedroom), and it's louder (less soundproof from hall). The toilet faces the shower, which has a towel bar on the door, and they are now so close together that we hit our heads on the towel bar. Pool area and beach are a delight.

This property allows you to be away from the crowded beaches and allows access to a private island that can’t be beat. Plenty of food options within a 2-8 minute walk.

Renaissance Ocean Suites does not have a Gym. It does not have a beach. The island belonging to the Renaissance is full of rocks. They should take it upon themselves to clean up the rocks. Rooms are old looking and not updated. I felt like the rooms are from the 80s. Anyone looking for a beach? This place is not for you. If you wanna shop, then great, otherwise no bueno.

This resort is beautiful and we loved sitting at the bar enjoying drinks. We had a room at the top floor (6th floor) with an island view. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we were satisfied with food and drinks. The free boat to Flamingo island with the resort stay was amazing as well. We loved our stay.

Loved everything about the property except the fact that Flamingo Beach was the rockiest beach I ever visited. Really put a damper in the day. Bring water shoes and you should be okay.

Great property and highly recommend staying here as adults or with kids. Great pool and private island. The food and drinks are very good especially for an all inclusive. The only thing I would do differently is never book through Expedia and I personally won't again. I booked an all inclusive package or what Expedia called all inclusive but it was a small drink credit. So after paying 12k for everything I had to pay another 3k when checking in to become all inclusive. Also our flight changed from a day trip to an overnight on the way back and we got bumped because it was oversold and since we used Expedia were were the first to go.

Room and property dated with worn out furniture in lobby. Not enough loungers for guests. Our room was off the elevator and felt like I was sharing a room with the entire hotel. Sooo Loud and at some points people would bang on the wall to hit the open door button which was on the other side of where we slept.

Went with my husband, and we stayed on the family friendly side, which was wonderful! Great pools, and on the beach side! We love Flamingo Island, which had an adults only beach, and a family friendly beach! Absolutely wonderful!

The property itself is very convenient, and located next to everything. They have 2 parts which will give you more options to eat and explore. When I checked in the staff member was very rude making sarcastic comments to my questions. I have stayed at the adults only side numerous times and never experienced this. Room service kept forgetting condiments that were requested for when placing the order and bringing them back by the time the food was cold. The bathroom nor towels where cleaned. When I said something they immediately fixed that issue. The beach is decent but gets crowded since they allow day passes.

My recent stay at the Renaissance in Aruba, with access to the beautiful Flamingo Beach, had its highs and lows. The pristine beauty of Flamingo Beach was undoubtedly a highlight, offering a picturesque backdrop for relaxation and enjoyment. The location was undoubtedly stunning; waking up to the sight of the marinas crystal-clear waters was a dream come true. The hotel grounds were well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. However, I must address a few drawbacks that detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience. Firstly, I made my reservation through Expedia, expecting an all-inclusive resort experience. Regrettably, this assumption was not entirely accurate. While the option for an all-inclusive package was available, it came at an additional cost, which was not made explicitly clear during the booking process. This discrepancy left me feeling somewhat misled and disappointed.

If I could give this resort 10 stars I would! My husband and I stayed here for a week during our honeymoon and had the best experience. We did the all inclusive package and it was completely worth it. The hotel is stunning, right on the beach with multiple pools and tiki huts to lounge under. The food was great and all staff were so nice and accommodating. Our room was set up with balloons, flowers, and a cake upon our arrival. The hotel was very clean and modern. There is a boat to take you to the private flamingo island 5-10 min away which also has two bars/ restaurants. We have nothing bad to say about it and would book here again in a heartbeat!!

Staff were extremely helpful, professional and kind. The room was beautiful. The food was delicious - endless seafood that was prepared well. The property itself was not what we had expected - based on the photos, it looks like a quiet retreat on the ocean.. it was a very loud, DJ blasting by the pool on a busy street type of vibe which was very misleading.

The resort staff were very helpful, pleasant, and accommodating with daily interaction. Flamingo island was a pleasant suprise for us and the resort never felt overcowded. We enjoyed that it wasn't so busy as the Palm beach area is. Very relaxing.

Private island is wonderful. Still would have been nice to walk on a beach right out hotel door rather than needing boat ride. We came for R&R and it worked perfect. Needed 10-15 minute cab ride for good food most evenings. We were impressed with the restaurants on island. Gym was large and fully stocked. Starbucks location right downstairs helped each morning.

We feel the property is overrated. Thin walls walls, could hear neighbors and hallway noise. A bit rundown insome areas. Good area for ahopping and walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping.
