Our room was exceptionally large and the breakfast was very reasonably priced. Breakfast provided a wide variety of options. The owners were very helpful.

Great location!

This was an excellent little hotel in a cute little village close to all the Normandy sites! It was very clean and modern. Breakfast was very good as well. Highly recommend this place!

Visit

Posted 13-Nov-2018 on Hotels
We arrived after dark and had a hard time finding the hotel. The street signs refer to Hotel Mountbatten but on the front window of the hotel it says Ideal in oddly placed letters which is very misleading. The owner wasn't there when we arrived but left the keys on the door and I was able o talk to her about this the next morning but she was clearly unsympathetic which I think is unfortunate because our room itself was excellent - the best room in any of the places we stayed in during our visit to France.

Stopover in Arromanches

Posted 04-Sep-2018
Pros: Rooms were spacious, including the bathroom. Liked the contemporary look and it was clear that some thought had been used in putting it all together.
Location: Arromanches is a haunt for anyone interested in all things d-day
Stayed here with a group of 5 as a stopover for one night on way back from a trip further south.

Nice hotel, 2 min walk to beach and D Day museum

Posted 02-Sep-2018
Very clean, great location for D Day history and 10 min car journey to see the Bayeux tapestry. Stroll to the beach and a choice of restaurants. There’s a hotel car park, but it does have a height restriction. We have an x5 with bikes on the roof and couldn’t get under. But there’s a free car park literally opposite. In my opinion I would say this is more of a motel rather than a hotel... and reception is not open 24 hours. We booked a 2 bed suite. It’s been great. Super clean, lovely bathroom and bedrooms etc. I would definitely recommend this place and would definitely come back if we were passing through again.
