Hotel Louvre Lens - Esprit de France
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is delightful set in a quiet area about a km from the centre of Lens and near the Louvre Museum Lens. Rooms are beautifully decorated and bathrooms well fitted. There was a problem with the air conditioning in our room when we arrived and when it still could not be fixed in the evening we we were given another room nearby and able to keep all our bags in the original room. The staff were very helpful indeed. Breakfast was also excellent and the gardens good for sitting and enjoying the sun. Parking was also convenient. I would go back without hesitation."

"A really nice place to stay and extremely convenient with on site parking (linked to hotel). This hotel shines by its thoughtful design and friendliness: super-helpful staff, but also a tennis table, table football, great kids’ corner, and more. We found it a really good base for stop and are tempted to come back as a destination some time."

"Friendly staff. Well located in a quiet mews 5 mins walk from the main squares. Room a bit old-fashioned, clean and comfortable (4 choices of pillow!), plenty of electric sockets, but disappointing absence of tea/coffee-making or even a welcoming bottle of water. No fridge or A/C; fan provided. Book ahead for car park; manoeuvring a large car tricky when full. Two 7 kW EV chargers: one Tesla only - good value if you can get an overnight charge. Nice simple breakfast."

"I stayed one night at this hotel and loved it. The room was very clean and nicely appointed, the location near the train station was fantastic and the overall hotel was great. I will definitely come back to Arras and recommend this hotel."

"Staff were very helpful and efficient. Rooms and hotel are very modern with a good lounge and bar. Breakfast was nice with a reasonable choice. I would recommend it to anyone. Secure parking on site was reassuring. Very close to the train station but no issue with noise."
