Good place, but soI won’t say this is a bad place, I just don’t understand why there is no normal passage, one passage is only for the disabled, I just don’t understand who they don’t respect, enters through an uneven road, to the reception through a disability ramp, and lift to the rooms only through degrees ,they did for the disabled only until the reception????,

The staff were wonderful. The first night the air conditioning did not work very well. No compensation for this. It was hot in our room.

We happened by chance on this beautiful hotel booking only 15 minutes before we arrived due to other issues. The reception team were extremely welcoming and helpful. The hotel is delightful situated in a lovely quiet area outside the town centre but with a direct bus route from a short walk outside the hotel. We stayed 2 nights and on our first night we were upgraded to a huge apartment. The hotel is very clean and we will definitely stay here again on a visit to Como. Highly recommend thank you for a lovely stay.

Parking was difficult in a garage hard to get into and narrow spaces. Only one sink in bathroom. No sink in kitchen area. No utinsels of any kind. Staff was very helpful

Lovely rooms with secure parking close to town
Lovely, updated, large and spotless rooms, very friendly staff. Only downside were very slim twin beds and thinish walls which require earlpugs, for a light sleeper like myself. Rare Indoor secure parking, close to town.

Good option in Como
Decent hotel but kind of a weird setup. It looks like an unfinished construction area outside, but indoors is fine. The rooms were a little spartan - a coffee table would have been nice. Very friendly staff.

Too far from downtown to be of any use. Cost 20e hi uluros cab from Centro to hotel. This hotel is not in the Centro and very misleading to advertise it as in Centro. It is 6 km from the Centro and a 20 euro cab ride,walking to the center would be impossible

Hotel Rosso Vino is located approximately 10 minutes by car from the center of Como. The hotel staff was friendly, professional and very courteous. We had to book a last minute stay due to our original booking not accepting late check-ins (which I didn’t find out until I contacted them to make arrangements - but that’s a story for another review...). Rosso Vino reached out to us immediately after confirming the booking to let us know that someone would be available to check us in, and upon our arrival we were greeted by a very nice gentleman who offered us a complimentary welcome glass of wine. Our room was beautiful and clean and our stay was very pleasant. The hotel offers free parking and all staff we came in contact with was just so nice! Props to the woman who was working at the reception desk on the evening of 9/5 who went above and beyond to help us order a pizza delivery on a rainy evening. Besides taking care of several customers checking in, she helped a few guests order delivery pizza and even paid for ours because the place was cash only and we didn’t have enough cash on us at the time. Thank you, Hotel Rosso Vino for a great stay! I definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Como area and have a car.

Very satisfied customer
As a first time, cross-country traveller, Hotel RossoVino was the perfect place to stop after a long journey. Upon entry, we were welcomed with refreshments and friendly staff which were very accommodating to any of our needs whether it was with directions, touristic information and could switch between languages to make sure every customer felt satisfied. In addition to the free, secure parking, our rooms were very clean and well-prepped. If it wasn't for our tight, on-going schedule we would've stayed longer.

Like having your own apartment for vacation. Little bit out of como center but easy to use if you rent a car. Rooms were brand new and half of the hotel is currently under renovation. Excellent for families.

Excellent overnight stay superb rooms all new with every facility. Breakfast was a little crowded but I gather it’s while they build a further two hotels on site. Underground car park and a very decent price for b/b.

The hotel is small but comfortable, the breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The only downside was that the kettle didn’t work in the kitchenette in the room we were in; it did work in other plugs but that wasn’t great with small children running around. Still, a very nice place, easy parking and not far from the autostrade.

Great Value, I Recommend A Car
First let me compliment the staff. The staff members are terrific and knowledgeable and if you are lucky enough to meet Klaudia you will find out what I mean. She is the nicest young lady you could meet. She is the kind of person you want your daughter to emulate. This is a nice clean quiet hotel that is off the beaten path. It is moderately priced and offers free parking. I would say that a car is a must, but the bus service seems to run throughout the city. The hotel is secluded and there is construction very nearby, but it seems to have stopped temporarily. The rooms were nice sized, and all upstairs rooms have balconies. The first-floor rooms have access to patios but be wary of mosquitoes. The television only afforded Italian channels which was fine by us because the internet was surprisingly fast and allowed us to watch real news. The room was decent sized, the water pressure was average and although the bathroom was oversized, the shower door opening was rather small. The beds were firm. I did not notice many eateries or convenience stores nearby so consider acquiring provisions before retiring for the day. There are no ice machines but if you ask the front desk staff for plastic cups, they will freeze water and make ice cubes for you. All in all, we had a real nice stay.

We had a wonderful stay! Friendly staff showed us how to catch local buses to the old town. We ate dinner in town in front of the cathedral and on the lake. The cable car and walk to the light house was the highlight. Very clean and friendly staff, good air conditioning for a hot night!

Nice rooms and friendly staff. The hotel is located at quite place so you can sleep without any noise coming from the outside. The only small thing I wish they have is an elevator to the 2nd floor, because if you have a have baggage you would need to carry it on an narrow stairs yourself.

Comfortable and clean
We had to pay 5 euro cash (with no receipt) for my partner to stay despite the price not increasing when we typed in two people for the booking, however was offered a glass of wine on arrival. The location wasn't great, a little hard to find and no view, however, bonus was the free car parking. Comfortable and clean however in future would pay extra to be closer to town and the action. It was advertised as apartment but really, all we received was that of a room that was the size of a hotel room. Two buildings on either side of the apartments are currently under construction.

The amount that you paid was just the difference while your booking could not even be modified as a NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING! Payment could be made in cash or with credit card, certainly with receipt! Our property offers both apartments( with kitchen and all facilities) and rooms ( private balcony and Bathroom) ... you have chosen a standard double room and not an apartment! Negatives a little bit off the beaten track and charged extra 10 euros per night for cot even though at booking and pricing child was included on the quote when we arrived we were told extra £10 euros per night at checking in all in we would stay again

Great Value For Money - Clean, tidy, modern
It's very unusual to find a hotel or motel in Italy that is as modern as this one. Most are older buildings that come with a range of older type building problems. This is a purpose built hotel/motel style of complex with clean modern fittings and even a fridge and jug in the room which is a real plus. Fully air conditioned and a range of room options and lawns outside along with heaps of parking - makes it very appealing. Not as close to town as many others, but close enough to a main road with ample bus access. Keep in mind that if you drive into town, parking can be expensive and hard to find (not to mention trying to understand the crazy Italian signage). They don't have an on-site restaurant so breakfast is not included but there's a handy bar where you can pick up coffee and a croissant before heading into town. The staff were friendly and helpful and I was most impressed overall with the entire experience. I stayed for 5 nights and give this hotel a 10 out of 10. Two comments that might help - it's very hard to find if you don't quite know where you're going. You turn off the main street and within 50 metres you have to make a hairpin turn into what looks like a parking area then turn left up a shingle driveway where you'll find a couple of building under construction and no signage. Keep going into the construction zone because the two completed buildings are the hotel. Reception is in the first building. Other than that - outstanding value for money.
