"Jose’s apartment in Plentzia was a wonderful home base for our time in Spain. The space was cozy, bright, peaceful, and thoughtfully stocked, with excellent storage solutions that made the apartment feel organized and comfortable. We especially loved the clever vertical shoe storage and the fully functional kitchen, where we enjoyed slower mornings making coffee and tortilla de patatas before heading out for our daily adventures.The apartment was also beautifully personalized with some of Jose’s own impressive paintings of local spots, which gave the spaces character and reinforced the culture we were immersed in.The location was fantastic, with grocery stores nearby, a metro station directly into Bilbao, yummy bakeries, pintxos spots, and the gorgeous Plentzia beach all within walking distance.Most importantly, Jose was an exceptional host. He was kind, warm, communicative, and especially thoughtful toward both us and our children throughout our stay. He genuinely cared that we were comfortable and was always quick to help whenever needed. We truly enjoyed renting from him and would absolutely recommend his apartment to anyone visiting Plentzia. "Yes everything was clean, and very spacious accomodation. The area is in a rural area but I liked that aspect of it. I rented a hybrid and I was able to have it charged each night at reasonable cost. The host was very nice and helpful."
