My daughter and I stayed two nights in early October. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Great beds and linens. The view of Washington DC was to die for. Easy access to highway. The front desk staff were polite and helpful. The bartender and the waiter were great and the food was good. Much better than most hotel fare. I will be booking this hotel for my next visit for sure!
Room was comfortable, walking distance to the buses although we chose to drive into DC. They provided what we paid for, the coffee in the lobby was a great bonus. Restaurant next door had good prices and was open all the time. It was nice and close to the memorial and the cemetery so we walked, good afternoon trip. The room was ready at check in time and it wasn't as loud as I thought it would be so close to the highway.
Within a mile walk to usmc memorial. Staff was really helpful. I recommend silver diner over the food in hotel. Best diner food I've ever had. Stayed on 8th floor back side of hotel. Great view of a apartment building. Room itself had a king size bed. Sizable room no fan in the bathroom. The bed was rock solid. Very firm. I didn't sleep well at all. But on a bright note I went to usmc memorial before dawn and got some amazing pictures in the dark.
The location of the hotel is convenient. It is a couple of subways stops away from main sites at DC therefore it is easy to access. The room was clean and comfortable.
I was expecting more from the breakfast, like at least bagels, tomatoes, and cheese (cream cheese at least). If you like meat, they offer various meat based stuff so that is good.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and may consider to stay there again if I will go to DC in the future.
Stayed here for a few days while traveling on vacation. Very easy walk to the subway, and from there a fairly quick ride to the main attractions in DC. Often got back after 9 pm (long days of sightseeing) and the restaurant proved a chill place to unwind, grab some food and/or a beverage, and catch up on work when I wanted to get out of the room.
Would definitely stay next time I'm visiting DC!
