Quiet spot 10 mins walk from town centre.
Lovely quiet place, great views of the mountain and lovely pool. Nice food spots in the town centre.

Great hotel for a relaxing beach / pool holiday
Very well located hotel with excellent facilities. We loved the pool and the spa area. We were very glad we stayed in a suite. The large terrace and separate living room were great during our longer stay. Would gladly return

The pool is lovely, set among beautiful gardens. The rooms inside are sadly a little lacking. The separate toilet was incredibly small (the seat and the room itself) to the point where it was hard to do what you needed to do. The fan was broken. The bed was very comfortable but the sofa wasn’t (sofa bed) leaving you with back pain. The balcony was nice. The Wi-fi didn’t work for a couple of days which was annoying. Finally the bathroom - the shower was a sad little dribble. And there were issues with the hot water for a couple of days.

Hotel is located about 1km from the beach. There is a taxi service but you may have to wait. Check in was 4pm. We finally got to our room at 4.40. The Wi-Fi is very slow. The pool area is nice and the room was very clean. The view was a hedge. We stayed two nights.

Great little hotel, in a good spot
Terrific little hotel with a beautiful pool. Very close to a small town with bars and restaurants. Rooms are small but well appointed, with a small balcony. Very quiet. Public areas are well maintained, lovely gardens with seating areas. Bar always seems to be available . Staff are really friendly and helpful

You'll love La Cottage.
One of the best places to stay in the area. Great breakfast. Great swimming pool. Close to the town centre, see and the mountains.

A lovely hotel located in a quiet residential area
We have just completed our third stay at Le Cottage in the last four years. If we return to Argeles sur Mer next year we shall seek to stay there again. From the moment of our arrival to the point of departure we have not the slightest complaint. This area has a wealth of local / Cathar history, with numerous places to visit.

1 night was enough!
First room offered was terrible smelt of smoke despite non smoking area. It was small and the bathroom had an unpleasant aroma too. Maybe we were offered this room as we were travelling with our dog. Once we complained we were offered a better room which was bigger and cleaner. Good that there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room because there was no restaurant at the hotel. Overall we were very disappointed and wouldn't go back.

2 night stay in hotel Le Cottage
Lovely hotel, good room size, very nice bathroom plenty of space. Staff were very nice and helpful. Would stay again only negative is location, it is about 25 minutes walk to either the beach or town centre.

My wife and I were so pleased we chose this hotel as it lived up to everything its website promised. We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay here. All the staff were very friendly & nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic weeks holiday, the hotel is very well equipped with a lovely pool. The breakfast was just spot on and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall it is a lovely hotel and relatively quiet which is nice. Would definitely recommend.

Great Find
Great little hotel with an awesome pool, great staff and super comfy and clean rooms. It is away from the beach but that is exactly what you want here. the beach area is busy, noisy and kind of seedy. This is a little oasis out of the way but walking distance or quick bus to the beach. Walk to the old section of town and grocery store.

The hotel is set in a residential area which at first glance seemed a little strange. However we were not disappointed as soon as you stepped into the grounds the feeling of relaxation was soon upon us. the swimming pool was just right and surrounded by beautiful plants and greenery. Reception was very welcoming and super efficient and immediately you felt like you had picked the right place and was going to enjoy the holiday. The decor was contemporary and very tastefully done. I don't have a negative and would highly recommend this hotel.

Superb Hotel
On arriving at the hotel we received a very warm welcome and everything wax explained to us about the times of breakfast and entry to the hotel after hours. We were then shown the spa facilities and taken to our room which was lovely as we over looked the pool and the pyrenees. We didnt have beach towels with us but no need to worry as the hotel loan them to you which was a pleasant surprise. The pool was amazing as it looks just like it does on the website and it was heated, the grounds are also nicely done and are well kept with palm trees and colourful shrubs. Our room although a little small expecially the toilet was extremely clean and well equipped and I loved the fact that they supply you with white robes to wear and fit flops if you book for the spa. The spa area was so relaxing with a huge jacuzzi indoors and a jacuzzi outdoors I just wish I was there longer to use it more. Our stay was so relaxing and I couldnt fault anything, we wanted to stay another night but unfortunately they were fulled booked. If we decide to visit the area again I will certainly be booking again.

Room was lovely, bit of a walk into Argeles, took about 30 minutes. Well signposted and easy to find. Staff very helpful and advised us of local restaurants to try.

3-star B & B with lovely pool
The hotel is very charming and boasts a beautiful swimming pool in a lovely garden. However, there is no lift and people with reduced mobility need to pre-book a ground floor room. Equally, there is no room service and no restaurant facilities. It is much more a 3-star B & B than a hotel

Le Cottage - quiet location, great pool
We had looked several times at this hotel on the internet and decided to book when there was a good rate offer. Good value at the price we paid. Extras (breakfast, lunches, minibar) can be expensive-ish but there was a wide choice of food at breakfast. Swimming pool was very user-friendly as one of us didn't want to be out of her depth! Yes it looks big on the hotel website and for us its size didn't disappoint. Location is handy for town centre restaurants, about 20 mins walk to the sea front amenities. Overall very satisfied and we'll return at the rate room rate.

Notre séjour s’est déroulé dans un cadre serein, propre calme , dont le personnel est agréable et à l’écoute , le petit déjeuné est copieux avec de bons produits le spa accessible moyennant un supplément est propre très bien dispose et l’on y trouve de la sérénité Je recommande cet hôtel qui se situe idéalement dans le centre d’ Argelies sur Mer

Nous avons été très déçu de l’accueil très froid. Vous dérangez quand vous demandez des serviettes, les raquettes de Ping pong. Hôtel non adapté avec des enfants. Vous n’êtes pas les bienvenus dans cet hôtel si vous avez un enfant, Nous avions choisi cet hôtel pour profiter d’une Journée à la piscine. Mais aucune solution repas proposée pour des enfants et lorsqu’on demande à pouvoir leur faire livrer un repas, on se le voit refuser ! Nous avions donc dû quitter l’hôtel pour pouvoir se restaurer. Hôtel peu accueillant qui manque de chaleur humaine. Dommage !

Nous regrettons de ne pas vous avoir donné satisfaction.Nous sommes étonnés de certains détails puisque nous avons un service de restauration légère en continu de 12.30 à 20.00 en Juillet et Août, justement pour nos hôtes qui souhaitent profiter pleinement de la piscine et ses abords!Quel dommage de lire ce commentaire alors que de nombreuses familles sont enchantées de venir et revenir dans notre petit paradis. J'en conclus qu'on ne peut malheureusement pas plaire à tout le monde.Bien cordialement

Beautiful pool and garden, clean apartment. But we booked a family apartment and the apartment was not very suited for small children. We have a 2 year old son and the living room of the apartment was tiny (no spot to put a changing pillow or toys). More important the apartment only had a high table and no matching chair for our son. He had to eat from the bed every day, which is not great with a two year old. The balcony was tilted and hence every morning his toys would roll off the balcony onto the breakfast tables of other guests. He could only play on the balcony in the morning, afterwards it was in the full sun and scorching hot. The apartment is too small for a family of four and not suited for small kids.
