Posted 03-Jul-2016
Pros: Style, comfort, staff
Cons: Upgrade the TV ! Have marmite available for breakfast
Location: Well located near Donegal coast. Good base for exploring southern Donegal.
Very welcoming and helpful staff. Excellent bar and evening meal. I had a spacious room opening out to the rose garden.

traditional country house. full of memorabilia

Pros: friendly staff, superb food.
Location: a 10 min walk downhill to the village. Spectacular scenery within a short drive.
The hotel was very quiet on arrival with a very friendly welcome. We were shown to a large room in the outside building. As it turned out, we were the only residents. The room was warm and cosy and very clean. We spent some time in the bar and had a fantastic meal. The menu was varied with plenty of choice. Several diners from the village dined. Comfortable beds and an excellent breakfast rounded off a pleasant stay.

Great location - showers need more pressure and hot water takes long time to arrive. Food etc very good and gardens very nice. Staff friendly but take a little time to complete things

Lovely quiet location

Posted 04-Jun-2015
Pros: We had a lovely big room
Cons: Decor slightly dated and the shower worked through the tap so water just trickled out
Location: Excellent location to everything ie town beach and mountain walks
Lovely setting, room looked out onto beautiful kept gardens
