Location is fantastic, right amongst shops and cafes/restaurants. Metro across the road was convenient. Hotel has great rooms and breakfast was superb! Friendly staff and 2 elevators made the stay very pleasant. We had room on 4th floor overlooking Gran Via and having double glazed windows and block out curtains made the stay nice and quiet (and dark when curtains closed). Air Con worked very well in the 30c plus weather. Would definitely recommend and would come back again for sure.

We were excited about staying here based on other reviews, but the room and amenities did not meet expectations. The floors, baseboards, lamps were all dirty or dusty. There was supposed to be toiletries, a basket was shown online, all we had was a wall mounted gel marked shampoo/body wash. There was supposed to be an ironing board and iron, none in the room. The coffee maker was on a side table that had no outlets around it and we had to place it on the floor next to the closest outlet to use it. We had to clean the coffee/tea cups, and the bottles of water left in the room one day had floaters in it. The room was loud, we could hear so much noise from outside, hallway, and rooms above even through our earplugs. Apparently each room is different, so maybe this was the worst set up but for over $300/night we were deeply disappointed.
